So...

There's a wall that separates our backyard-patio from our next door neighbor's backyard-patio. Apparently, due to the wind(?), a planter belonging to our next door neighbor that was sitting on said wall has fallen into our backyard-patio. So...

-Do I wait for our next door neighbor to ask about it?

or

-Do I just let our building's handyman/gardener deal with it?

;)

It was my favorite until I took Bryan to his first movie, just the two of us to see 101 Dalmatians.

How strong was that wind?

It's a medium-size planter. -And we have had some gusts the past two nights. Or maybe some of the stray cats knocked it over. ???

I'm just glad it missed the gas grill.

It was DS Zach's birthday yesterday, so I was E&T.

My sister emailed me asking if I had our parents' marriage certificate, as she was applying for British citizenship (our Dad was born in England).  I told her I didn't, but asked her what was going on, and she is contemplating moving back there (she lived outside of London for many years) if the US continues its wave toward radical conservatism.  DW Wife Betsy wants us to go, too.  ;)

Happy belated birthday to DS Zach.

I too want to move to England where I have told dogs are permitted in pubs.   Unfair though that only children of men can become citizens, not children of women.  At least that is what I have been told.

Awww--I adore Hepburn in BRINGING UP BABY.

I think she is very funny, even if annoying, and exactly what Cary Grant's character needs.

I do love THE MIRACLE AT MORGAN CREEK!

Me too, and My Man Godfrey.  I must admit I prefer the June Allyson, David Niven remake of Godfrey.

Might be a way to introduce yourself. Or if that doesn't sit well with you, I'd contact someone with the building.

Dogs are permitted in the pub at the end of my street; well, on the deck, anyway. The Thirsty Dog tavern, a few blocks the other direction, has a special dog patio and "Milk Bone Happy Hour"!

I got up at ten and have been printing out orders ever since.  In the exact same time frame on a non-holiday Monday, this is outdoing Promises.

I missed yesterday's posts; I went to Athens, GA to do a 10 mile walk with my best friend. We plan to do a half-marathon walk in October. What I didn't know was that it was going to be a hike on very rough terrain. I didn't have the right shoes for it and by the end I felt like I was on the Bataan death march. My DR was out of town but got home about an hour before me and gave me a nice, much-needed foot rub.

On Saturday I escaped the house projects and went to the Dragon Con parade. I'm sure there were probably quite a few Captain Marvels shouting "Shazam!". There were also dozens of storm troopers, people from middle earth, pretty much anyone from any sci fi or fantasy work was represented. There were even several George Lucases!

Today we're hopefully finishing up all the projects with our painter. We stripped and stained the deck, stripped and painted the pavillion, and now he's spraying the barn with stain. Of course, this is all due to the fact that DR Jose will be paying us a visit in a few days! ;-)

So, DR Jose, do you WANT to meet your neighbor?

Umm...

I'm just not exactly sure who lives next door.  The building has been going through some major remodeling, and there are times when I think that no one is actively living there.  But then sometimes I notice that a party is going on. So...

???

Greg just worked on a music video for a group called Foxy Shazam. The lead singer kind of reminds me of Freddy Mercury; very charismatic. The group is pretty crazy but very nice guys.
