It's stormy and hot outside and I'm indoors writing a press release on holiday events. Of course, no one wants to call me back, so I have no info on the menorah lighting, the German choir's Christmas party and nothing at all related to Kwanzaa. I just want to go home, except I am at home. Listening to "A Broadway Christmas" now to get me in the mood.

Last night, DR Jose asked if I got to keep the wardrobe from the TV show.  Thank goodness I did, since it came from my own closet.  Come to think of it, the gray sweater (that made me look like the Hindenberg) was given to me by another cast mate.  The director wanted a different look for one scene and I had only brought four changes, so this girl gave me the sweater she had in the car.  It was her husband's and she was taking it to the Goodwill.

I should give it to Ben and Ant.  They could take it to Long Island and use it as a tent.

Or you could give it to DR elmore's upstairs neighbor to "muffle" his "activities".

It really feels like Fall is already here.  It isn't raining, but it was rather cold this morning.

As for the Topic of the Day...

"Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" - My family saw it at a drive-in movie theater. Twice. In one night. And it was raining, and we bought one of those plastic thingies with suction cups to keep the rain off the windshield. I think it was paired with "Orca".

The only other one that comes to mind is the original "Clash of the Titans".

It's raining "cats & dogs" here in Austin, and it's supposed to continue like this for most of the week.

The good news: We don't have to water our lawn.

Ginny, I don't know if anyone ever responded, but I'm listening to a track from the Bette Midler Rosemary Clooney album and yes, it's very, very short. LP records from the 60s and 70s were that short but nowadays CDs usually have more material.

From Jose:
Quote
DR Jane - I can't remember if I shared this with you before, but... Well, just click and see... Smiley

Bee Desserts Chocolate Honey Cakes

*And, yes, I just had one of the Almond ones. WOW! Smiley

OMG those look fantastic!!!  Before reading the description it looks like honeycomb which I love.  These look very intriguing.  It is also possible I would be slightly allergic to them but heck, they look worth an itchy mouth. :)

George, if you get this other job, can you still work the strange hours that you work now?  Remember, you are NOT a morning person.
