THE UNFORGIVEN/THE WAY WEST CD has been ordered.

I've always felt that THE UNFORGIVEN is one of the most underrated of all westerns.

It's always been a favorite of mine.

I had a publicity  client in THE WAY WEST (Timothy Scott).

Wow...DR FJL....this clip was on that page too.

What a rocker voice she had....and this was a great club dance song.....back in the day.

Laura....seven years later that DR FJL's clip

Jrand - In the day.

We'd dance wildly about this lady who's "headed for a breakdown, so be careful not to show it." :)

DR Cillaliz did you get to watch Millenium 2 and 3. The 3rd movie came out in French here August 17th. I'm hoping my library gets it soon!

I have them right here, but haven't watched them yet.

But first with reference to elmore's post:

The late Laura Branigan and GLORIA

I will confess to really liking GLORIA when it came out, and it was a great song to dance to in its day.  But it really is a stupid song.

CD ordered.

Thanks BK for mentioning the CD before Monday, since today will probably be my last day to sign on for who knows how long. I have to be at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan tomorrow at 9:30 AM EDT. My right hip revision surgery should begin approximately two hours after arrival. As with my previous three hip replacements, my pain should be gone immediately following my operation.

I have no idea how long I will be in the hospital and subsequent rehabilitation therapy. Forgive me if I do not send or reply to emails over the next several weeks (since I do not know if I will have Wi-Fi access). I look forward to returning to this list very soon in the near future. - Cheers

Ring My Bell......ah yes another DISCO gem!

DR TCB - that's what I thought when I started the clip - and then WOW!  Laura was a rocker and singing that song LIVE!!

Yes it is a dumb song.....but it stays with you.

That dancing isn't nearly as dirty as I remembered it.

From MBarnum:
Quote
Spent the better part of the day moving boxes and crates to the new apartment.

Met a few of my new neighbors, and they are really nice (and some are really nice looking!)

And I think there are more then just 7 Indian men living in my building. They were everywhere... Grin

I'm sorry your perfect day ended on a sad note.  It sounds/looks like you will be very happy in your new home.
