We are back from a delightful late afternooon/early evening excursion to Cocoa Beach. We stood at the end of the pier and watched the tide come in and 3 cruise ships go out from Port Canaveral. The surf was especially high, courtesy of Hurricane Igor. We had a lovely dinner at Atlantic Ocean Grille and then went back out to the end of the pier for more wave-watching.

After my accident it was months before I dared to have any wine. I waited until I was basically off the pain meds and then substituted the wine for the pill. The wine was far more enjoyable.

Well, I pulled up some photos and printed up some "nature cards" and told them about the God's beautiful miracle: the monarchs and their migration.

Coincidentally, Marilyn made some butterfly cookies for the coffee hour, so it looked like we coordinated it.
