That's horrible, Larry. :'(

It's really got to me. He clearly felt he had nowhere to turn, his shithead roommate clearly was out to get him, and he gives up everything. The poor kid. I'd have sued their asses off.

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2010/09/hold_new_rutgers_post.html

Suing them is lightweight.  They should go to prison

I will be surprised if they don't.

PAGE FOUR I'M OFFICIALLY A SUPERVISOR DANCE!!

Does this mean what I think it means?  Congratulations, DR George!

Yes, Ginny, I now am the boss of five...well, five once we hire my replacement!  Thanks!

Will you be interviewing your replacement?  Sounds like fun.

As soon as I saw the big red "I'm" I waited for the rest of the good news.

Back from my appointment.  A little loopy right now, but, I was told to go home and sleep it off.  Nine polyps removed, the DR said they did NOT look cancerous.  They will be biopsied and I'll know in a few weeks.

That is a lot of polyps!  They can usually tell if they are cancer.  Some might be the kind that could become cancer.  Since you got them it won't really matter.  My guess you will be doing this again in three or four years.

Actually, three to FIVE years. . .(sounds like a Marx Brothers routine).

or a prison sentence

DR George,

Keith briefly took a break from playing his computer game and was delighted to hear your good news.  He said to tell you congratulations, so I will.

Back from cardiac rehab, where they made me watch a couple of lame American Heart Association videos about heart-healthy eating.  When those were over, I listened on my iPod to a podcast that I'd downloaded from the American Theatre Wing - an interview with Gerard Alessandrini about Forbidden Broadway.  What's weird is that they talk about selections they're going to play and the actual tracks have been edited out.

How much did that cost you‽

Nothing, DR Jane.  It's from iTunes U.

Sorry, I meant to remove the last part.  How much did watching the lame videos.  Now I realize you watched them while using the treadmill.

This morning I headed out to meet up with my hiking group and ran into a road block where I sat for fifteen minutes in the "dead cell phone zone".   I didn't make it in time to hike with them.  Making this extra annoying is that the road does not need new asphalt and there haven't been signs warning us about the upcoming road delays.

I went to the local hiking trails, came home & took Sherlock back out.  I hadn't taken him because there is too much poison oak where they went.  Since I was done earlier than expected we went to Costco to get a few things.

Well, they know me...and I know the computer system.  I think that that was the deciding factor, more than any supervisory experience, which I don't have.

What those college kids did is sadly reflective of the world we live in - no morals, no ethics, I'm sure they thought they were entitled to do what they did -

Back from a short jog.  As I headed towards the house, guess what I heard - THUNDER?  I mean, anyone who doesn't think we are in the midst of the craziest crazy weather everywhere seriously needs to have their head examined,  Whatever is happening to this planet, it's clear that SOMETHING is.

Yup, I'll interview, but not alone.  There were five people for my interview, this morning.  They're going to announce my current position soon and only internally.  That'll speed things up.

My current-but-soon-to-be-former supervisor has been quite good...very laid back, but he's able to do what needs to be done.  AND he'll be training me, so that's another good thing.

Vibes for good test results for DR td. Nine polyps does sound like quite a lot.

Thanks for the travel vibes, all. The flights were good and I manage to both get some sleep and 300 pages read in my book. Two goals and both accomplished.

Am watching Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn in "Funny Face." Not a great movie, but certainly an enjoyable one.
