Another good day at the studio. Ron got his three songs recorded in about two hours so we ended with time to record a piano solo before lunch. After lunch we took a stroll through the wonderful museum of the Hispanic Society next to the Academy and saw the Goya painting and other fantastic Spanish and Mexican works of art. Then the handsome and talented Aaron Lazar showed up and recorded four numbers. His beautiful performance of the heartbreaking "Heart O'Mine," written for the play "The Merry Wives of Gotham," had everyone in the studio in tears by the end. All in all, a very great day, and I hope tomorrow goes as well.
