What a lazy day.  Have not even unlocked the gate to go beyond the yard.  Have not done anything except dust.  Feel very scared, like my old comforts are about to be left behind.   And have no idea where I will end up.        Not even music fixed things.   Wonder if it's the pills.  

Maybe I was just so used to feeling sick all the time, this new feeling is not comfortable.

I started a raw food diet today. I'm hoping it does me some good. The last time I tried it, my mental energy really increased.

Dear John G, I forgot that Big Lots has movies.  I stopped buying them at Marshall's, they went from 2.99 to 6.99 ea.   

Got a great deal at Big Lots the other on "Waiting for Guffman," "Best in Show" and "A Mighty Wind" all for just $6.

I forget that Olympia has a Big Lots.  It's on the west side of Olympia, and I don't go over there very much, so I don't think about it.  I think that I've only gone there once.

I just read a  book called " A Girl named Zippy"

I picked it up at  a garage sale for $1

It was written by Haven Kimmel about a girl who grew up in Mooreland in Indiana

With all those names I felt I simply had to read it

It was  a fast read -and  it might be interesting for a book group - it was quirky ... very very quirky

Just finished watching "Road House" for the first time. The Patrick Swayze one, not the great Ida Lupino/Richard Widmark movie. My, how awful. And fascinating. And that hair!

Just finished watching A TIME TO KILL again.  I really love that movie.

Today, I did not leave my house at all.  I did nothing but watch TV...I watched two episodes of "iCarly" (I'm recording this for one of the daughters of my friend Margo), an episode of "The Bonnie Hunt Show" (it ended in June, but I still have 24 episodes recorded and I want to make them last), two episodes of "Glee," and tonight's "Mad Men," "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters."  I still have two hours of "Fringe" saved, but I'm not watching them tonight.

Well, I hate to do it, but I need to go to bed now (before the new notes are posted).  Tomorrow, I'm starting the training for my new job and I need to sleep.  I'm still sort of freaking out about it, but I accepted the job, so I'm stuck.

But before I go...my sister's boyfriend called me a little while ago and said that he's finally finished copying the anamorphic widescreen DVDs of South Pacific!  I'll pick them up at my sister's tomorrow or Tuesday and hopefully will have time to mail everything (TCB's "High School Stories" and the non-anamorphic South Pacific) before the end of the week.

I'm sorry that it's taken so long, but I hope that those who've asked for copies will like them.
