We have some cleaning to do in preparation for our Nottingham guests.

I will then listen to Radio Wales at 5pm and at 7pm we will head over the the Miss Sobriety Pageant.

As much as I love it, I try to avoid pizza as much as possible.

It's too tempting.

I'm a screenwriter again.

 ;D

I haven't written in the screenplay format for 3-4 years.  Just books and plays.

A couple of months ago, a fellow who'd read one of my books called me "out of the blue," and now he has hired me (and paid a nice advance) to write a screenplay based on his original concept.

I can't talk about the subject matter, except to say that the script will be an action-thriller about a very disturbing topical subject.

Now, where did I put my Final Draft file...?

Work day.....again.....

I like  pizza of most every kind, but most of them seem pretty ordinary to me.

I am glad you enjoyed Plague of the Zombies, DR MBARNUM.....yes the gals were very good - and of course we got to see Alex Davion (Ted Casablance himself from Valley of the Dolls) in a small role.

But the final explanation, The Squire was going through all of the making zombies bit to get people to work in his tin mine.....wouldn't it have been easier to just hire people from the village?

I like pizza although don't eat it out very often. My favorite kind is bacon (not ham) and pineapple.

Good morning, all! I slept late and I plan to have a very non-eventful day.

My last dream was something to do with real estate; I was buying a house, but I have no idea why, and I suspect it was the house where I grew up.

I have one major errand this morning and that's a bank deposit. I want to spend the remainder of the day watching DVDs.

BK, good luck with the storage space today!

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And who knew that sitting down watching a 4-1/2 hour opera could be so tiring? ;)

Saturday morning greetings!  It's a bee-yoo-tee-ful day here in SW Ohio - perfect for a walk around the neighborhood.  I'll putter around the house, too, before the Michigan-Michigan State kick-off at 3:30 - Go, Blue!

And I have a bit more sitting today too.  No opera today, but a couple of Chef's talks at the New York City Wine & Food Festival.  And today there will be samples! :)

As for pizza...

I still remember my first John's Pizzeria pizza - from the location down on Bleecker. That was very good.

Then there was my first Grimaldi's...

The my first one at Keste...

Then at Co. ...

Then... Etc., etc., etc...

DR Druxy - Did you and your wife splits a medium Chicago deep-dish pizza while you were in Chicago? Or a standard thin-crust one?

One fun factoid I learned from last night's "Star Studded Chefs" Times Talk:

4-Star Chef Daniel Boulud does not like bananas.  -And it was his daughter who informed the whole room about that fact!
