I've been eating pizza.  No, really.  :)

I've got a storage box filled with unwanted CDs to go to Miami University Library - yep, another shipment coming up - and I've lazed around doing little more. I think tomorrow I will pull books.

BK, congrats on the new space and your finding things.

My favorite Chinese place, the Silk Road Palace, has been closed all week. It's most unseemly. I do hope it hasn't been discovered that they're serving vermin in place of chicken, beef or pork! I alsp hope there's been no tragedy. No one seems to know anything.

Love the new cd.  Sadismo.  Not at all what I expected.  Should have remembered to not judge by it's cover.   Love the new cd.  ;D

Of course then I had to listen to Twisted Nerve/The Bride Wore Black, & The Brain from Planet X.  ;D

Found my Pee Wee Herman Big Top movie.   Too many movies for me to go through, have to do something soon.   Like clean out all the stuff piled up in front of the cd/movie shelves.   I just don't seem to have the want to tackle the chore.  Do have another bag o stuff to take to the Arc Foundation, so I guess that is some progress.

DR Vixmom - the wedding isn't until Sept. 4, 2011, but Mary Linda is getting some of the detail work done early.

Well back to life.

Best pizza for me, since the 1960's, Tony's Bella Vista in Burbank.  (somewhat tacky for an Italian restaurant, but I don't care).   8)

I didn't feel like I had enough energy to bike today. So I didn't. Sort of discouraging, since 2 days this week already were complete rain outs.

I did go outside with my nieces for about 30 minutes. But I had a tshirt, a long sleeve shirt and a jacket and I was still cold.

My little niece who is 16 months still does not talk. She just says a couple of words (mama and no mostly). But she is stubborn. And she knows exactly what she wants. And some how even without words she can communite.  I joke to my mom that she is the most communicative mute I know.

Well she was begging to go outside. Her hint was she got her jacket, her shoes and my shoes. And then jumped up and down by the gate until I opened it for her. :)

I also had pizza for dinner. Although just the frozen box kind.  It was the only thing that I had that I could think of that seemed the least bit tempting.

After Michigan's disgusting performance against MSU, we're now watching the local rivalry game between Miami and the University of Cincinnati.  DN/goddaughter Lauren is on the sidelines for Miami, but Rob and I are cheering for UC.  The game's on a cable station that we don't get, but Rob's streaming it from his computer to our TV - very cool.

Haven't had official introductions with the girls yet.  They smelled him in his box when he came in, Callie seems interested, Boo is mad.

Ok, Callie saw Ricky, she hissed, he hissed, she growled, he growled.  I decided that was enough for now and shut the door.  The girls are pissed.  I did realize that I had the scent of about 10 cats on me from all the looking I did today, so I changed clothes.  they quit hissing at me but aren't pleased.  It will take time but will be fine

So, we're still barely on page three, eh?  And it's already eight-thirty on the other coast.  If we achieve a new all-time low this day, I'm afraid I shan't be happy.

I had a really rough night last night.  I woke up and needed my inhaler.  Luckily I knew where it was.  It will be by the bed tonight

It's interesting watching the girls' reaction to the new cat.  They are taking turns sitting in the box he came in.  At least they will get used to his scent a little that way.  He's got their scent all over the room he's in

Last I checked he was stretched out on the bed purring.   He didn't hide at all.  I decided not to do to much introducing today.  If the girls are curious I may do another short little intro, but I figured it's better for him to be settled in after a very stressful couple days.  He just got to the shelter yesterday, so I imagine he's been pretty scared for the past two days

I'm really hoping I can get him into the vet to the vet on Monday.  He's had his shots.
