Watched the season finale of Mad Men.  The most amusing thing about it are the AMCs promos, trumpeting the finale as if it was going to be some huge, amazing, fantabulous, life-altering thing, like a season finale of Lost or something - when what you get is really just another episode - and I kind of like that the producer has the courage to do that.  Yes, there was one major surprise and that was fun and involved a character I've really been enjoying, but basically there were no earth-shattering cliffhangers here.

I love Indian food, but I do meet a lot of resistance to it. Yet who could a bowl of makhani dahl, buttery lentils? Or egg curry? Our Indian restaurants in San Antonio vary all the time, good one visit, oddly bad the next. But we have a Pakistani place that is outrageously good. The tawa fish with slabs of potato are out of this world. I'm now hungry all over again.
