Sounds like a wonderful trip, Kevin H. You need to mix the bad with the good, at least I think, to fully appreciate the good.

I think I saw those Little Red Riding Hood movies, too. At least one of them.

Worst choreography in movies? "Stayin' Alive" has some laughably awful moves. So does "Mamma Mia!" And anything the words Miss Debbie Allen are attached to would have to be included by default.

Guess I'll mosey on over to an Indian restaurant.  Pray for Rosemary's Baby.

Boy, I hated that movie!
I forgot that the hair was almost as bad as the dancing!

BK, congratulations on the newly acquired artwork! Next time I am in Los Angeles I want to make a point of visiting your abode so that I can view this illustration art in person, I think it is all just wonderful!

Be sure to post some snaps of your new items!

BK doesn't have a fire escape!

I am currently watching what is being billed as AMERICA'S GAME.  It is actually a rather so-so football game between Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys vs. Little Dicky I mean, Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings.

I think I saw one of them at a Saturday matinee back in the early Sixties.

Am enjoying most of "South Pacific" despite its flaws, which I could go on and on about and yet somehow they don't seem to matter. Danny Burstein may be the best performer in the show. The Lt. Cable is good wrong for the part. Too much swagger, too little that is ingratiating. So "Younger Than Springtime" doesn't sound right coming from him.

Back from a nice lunch with dear reader Jeanne - first time eating Indian food since the bad business back in 1972.  I played it safe and had tandoori chicken tikka - after a little salt it was very tasty.  I tasted Jeanne's curry, which was not to my liking.  But, even though I'm full, it was really only a chicken breast, onions, and some kind of Indian pita-like bread.

Yes, BK did indeed eat an Indian meal--and certainly appeared to enjoy it. And the restaurant wasn't crowded; in fact, it was virtually empty. I hope Bruce finds a few Indian dishes he likes well enough to enjoy again. We had a nice talk, too. He's looking well.

I'm awaiting the arrival of one singer, and then Alet will be here around seven-fifteen.  Then I can settle down and watch a motion picture.

I had an interesting afternoon.  My parents had agreed this morning that I'd meet them at a restaurant on their route.   Well 20 minutes before they got to Sioux City my mom called and said..."Oh, we're coming to your house".  Ok, if I didn't have enough to do, now I was cleaning up a storm.  I got enough done and was able to show them the kitchen and other work I've done, introduce them to Little Ricky and have a meal.  It was nice

The most interesting thing was that Callie and Boo got so excited to see my mother.  That has never happened before.  They are a lot calmer about everything now. Strangest thing I've ever seen

Not that being excited to see my mother is strange, just that the cats have never done that before, they were meowing at her through the window and went running to the door....like dogs or something

Watching TAR, then I think I'll take some work upstairs when it's over and sit with Ricky a while
