So, what a coinkidink that "Happy Days" is opening on the day Tom Bosley dies.

And I just happened to be playing auditions today for a regional production of Happy Days.  We heard the news after lunch.

In other news:  do any of you domestic types have any ideas about how to clean/polish a marble tile floor?  The foyer of our new house is marble, and it's gotten pretty badly scuffed over the past few months.  Betsy is uptight about how to clean and polish it.

DR JMK - What DR Jeanne said. It all depends if the marble is polished of not.  -Or if it happens to need re-polishing.

As for the Topic of the Day...

The only two that come to mind right now are:

"The Red Balloon"
"Bambi Meets Godzilla"

I'm sure there are others which will pop back into my brain a little later.

Happy Days isn't going anywhere except these regional places.  I worked with Bosley twice on Happy Days and in those days, at least, he was very nice, warm, and kind-hearted.  He always took the time to say hi to me if we saw each other on the Paramount lot.

We made the mistake of putting in a marble counter in our bathroom.  JMK can you find out where it came from and call the store, at least find out when it was last cleaned and polished.

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spilled the beans, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they've just spilled some beans and have given them to a close personal friend of theirs named Jack.

Those are some pretty exciting beans you have been spilling, BK!

I'm in the middle of fact-checking a restaurant guide book. Grueling work.

Here's an enjoyable clip of Bosley doing a song from "Fiorello":

And now I'm heading to a charity event for City Harvest where I get to sample the food of various chefs in NYC. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening.

Later...

We saw Mr Bosley playing Belle's father in Chicago in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.....which the lady playing Mrs Potts insisted on singing as  "Bu-dee  and the Beast.............."

I am watching MOURNING BECOMES ELECTRA which is pretty ....  well .... long.

Why does a film taking place in New England have "Shenandoah" is theme music....and it's sung over the main titles.....

Oy. I was out for dinner at a birthday. We take a group picture. And then in the bathroom before I leave I notice a big thing of sauce on my face! OMG! I am horrified. I can't believe that nobody noticed. It must have been on my face for close to an hour.

I wonder if red eye remover will work on a face. And they wanted to blow up the picture. :(

The even sadder part is that I got all dressed up and even did my hair fancy.

Dialidol has Audrina at the bottome for their Dancing With the Stars results. Although everyone was in yellow. I will be very sad if she goes home tonight.  Not sure who would go home. I would probaby choose Bristol. I think I would be okay with anyone as long as it's not Jennifer or Audrina.

Sign of the season:  Richard went tonight to the first rehearsal for Middletown Civic Chorus' Messiah, to be performed Dec. 5 at the church we used to attend.

Jennifer, what you need is a program like Photo Shop that as a cloning option.  Using that, it would be easy to remove the spot.

that sounds great. Our symphony here has decided not to do the Messiah in the usual venue. Instead, it is touring to three churches this year to perform the piece. Sounds like a nice plan.
