Good morning, all! I had nightmares about Ohio Light Opera in rehearsal for JUBILEE most of the night, but I did sleep for around 10 hours. Moving about is an ordeal, because the trick knee doesn't want to support me and I feel at moments I could fall on my face. I did cancel all of my appointments - Cole Porter Trust at noon and Frank Loesser office at 1:30 to stay in. Tomorrow I've got a doctor's appointment at 3:30, so I may stay in tomorrow until then. I don't want to be stuck on a subway platform or out on the street and unable to navigate.
Today I'm staying inside: I'm listening to a BBC Radio program of Frank Loesser that was conducted last year by my friend Larry Blank and I've got my Sondheim book and my vampire novel LET ME IN to keep me company along with the tv. I don't like being an invalid, though; it gets old fast.
TOD: I played this game a lot between 1979 and 1982, when I had lots of theatre career options and one of them was becoming a casting agent. When John McGlinn, who was really good at casting, was recording for EMI, we played the game daily. Now I only cast my own projects.
