Hope Sunset Boulevard went well tonight.

I hope so too.  Or, at the very least, that someone ended up dead in the swimming pool. ;)

Vix and I stopped by the Good Will today -  I bought a new sealed copy of The Apple Tree  I never heard of it but figured it was probably worth the 74 cents to give it a listen

Mr BK after you use those charts, do you put them back where you found them?

Actually, no.  They're going into a library of charts that are specific to these Gardenia shows (I have the originals back where they belong, though), as the ultimate idea for these shows is to be able to do them elsewhere - like NY.

Tonight, I ushered for a local production of "The Taming of the Shrew," that was set in the Old West.  For the most part, it worked.  The accents weren't consistent and muddied their diction, but otherwise it was a fun evening.  They wrote a few songs for the show, but not enough to call it a musical.  There were probably only seven or eight songs during the three hour evening.  The audience really liked it.  Tonight was their last performance, so I'm glad I was able to see it.

A couple of my friends were in it, but they left and didn't come out to the lobby, so I didn't get to see them.  Oh, well.  I know I'll see them again.

SOGO stands for Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia.  My friend Margo's middle daughter plays cello in the orchestra...she's very good.
