I woke up thinking it was Monday and I needed to call about Ricky.  It  took me a while to realize that it's Friday and tomorrow is the weekend.   Taking a Thursday off really threw my internal calendar off kilter

Got very moved by the stories of  Arena Stage's "Oklahoma!" and its contemporary take, so even though the parody-tribute will probably reach relatively few folk:

We're fans here of what the Arena Stage accomplishes, so here's a Regional Parody-Tribute
Parody-tribute of "Kansas City" from OKLAHOMA

EVERYTHING'S UP TO DATE AT THE ARENA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kIMKGkAaRM

It's only about 2 minutes long.  The folks at the Arena even gave me an OK to put some of their photos in.

Thanks, JRand. I hope to finish working on a few more photos and will have them ready to post in a day or two. There are a few homages to DR Laura in the next batch.

I think I have the gist of the second song BK wants to do--it's hard to hear all the changes over the raucous crowd noise.  :)

I have no doubt that BK will inform me of every little jot and tittle I have transcribed incorrectly.  :)
