TEARING MY HAIR OUT
« on: November 17, 2010, 11:58:01 PM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of hair and frustration, not necessarily in that order, and now it is time for you to post until the frustrated and hairless cows come home.

And the word of the day is: IDIOGLOSSIA!

Smoke on your pipe and put that in.

It always feels funny when I'm in LA and I'm up when the notes get posted!

The event gave out goodie bags; we got Jewish baseball cards (as seen in the film with the guy who makes them) and baseballs with our logo. The players all signed my ball! Mike Lieberthal has exquisite handwriting and was so funny---he should be a commentator! He and Shawn Green spent a while afterwards talking about their golf games, LOL!

I was too excited to eat much at the reception, and now I'm hungry! I think I'll raid the snack machine...

In other news...

A composer-friend of mine from Philadelphia is in town this week, and we're supposed to have lunch tomorrow/today/in eight hours, so...

Goodnight.

Hmmmm...I did refresh before I posted, and cleaned my cache. I just went there again and the old notes were still up, then I refreshed again and voila! So now I can find out why you're tearing your hair out!

Good morning, all! Another day of the McGlinnventory and then my schedule changes. My editing plans have fallen through so I'm off to the NYPL on the continual scrapbook search and I want to look at a few folksong collections.

I received a sad email from my neighbor Judy, who keeps an eye on the apartment when I'm away. The adorable boxer who barks too much in the apartment above me is dying from cancer. I doubt that's the reason the Oaf is moving, but I'm wondering if his unhappness and anger over the dog's situation isn't being directed at me.  This answers a few questions I've been formulating, like why I haven't heard him walking the dog or why I haven't heard the excited clatter of paws and claws on the floor. I'm not sorry the Oaf is leaving but I am really sorry that beautiful and friendly boxer is suffering.

DR Ginny, I've been pondering your fashion dilemma and I think that the easiest solution to your pants problem, until you have lost a little more weight, is to buy a red clown nose. It will be cheaper than clothes and suitable for any occasion.

Yes, it's a work day here also but t'will soon be ending at least for a month.

We will be on Long Island for Thanksgiving (beginning next Wednesday). I'll take the train out in the afternoon and Anthony will pick me up at the station.

He's on the Island right now and due back in the city sometime today.

LOL, DR Elmore!!!  And now that I've stopped laughing and wiped the tears from my eyes...

Thursday morning greetings!  I woke up at 6am and could not go back to sleep, so I've been reading and trying to be quiet enough to allow the rest of the household to sleep in.  I have a haircut scheduled for later this morning and a gathering of my book group this evening.
