I'ts cold here tonight.  Maybe down to 30 degrees (cold for me).  Maybe ? snow on top of the mountains in the morning.  The full moon has just been beautiful during the morning the last few days.  I forget to look out the window at night, but I get to see it every morning from the freeway.  ;D'

Well, like usual I do not have much to say.  Watched Empire last night.  Been listening to the radio a lot.  Enjoy it a bunch.

I love the dishes, John G.

Not I. :P

But what if they came in keychain form, DR George? ;)

That would be fine...I wouldn't have to eat them.

I eat off of dishes, I don't eat dishes..

Sorry I was E and T, tonight...while the DWS people were cutting the rug...I was literally cutting the rug.  The yucky pink carpet is gone.  It was pretty disgusting as I cut it up and hauled it out.  It took me a while to get all the tack strips off etc.  The floors aren't perfect underneath but the hardwood floors look pretty good.

I'm kind of tired and a little sore, but now that the bed is in the basement and the carpet is out and that mess is cleaned up, I have decided I don't really care if i get any more done in there over the weekend.  So, I'm going to just enjoy some time puttering, reading, dining with mom and dad and relaxing with the cats.   I may shop for a rug, but I am not going to any more with stripping wall paper and painting, that is just going to have to wait.

Oh I may do some rearranging of furniture upstairs, but that's fun to me.

Vibes for Paul would be appreciated for tomorrow.  He's going to have surgery on his stomach.  I don't quite understand what it is, he said his stomach is literally turning inside out.  Now I don't see how that is possible, but he's having surgery on his stomach for some problem.   He said he'll call me in the afternoon and doesn't want me to visit him at the hospital.   He hates visitors at the hospital and I hate to go to the hospital so that works fine.

We have a winter weather advisory in effect for tomorrow.  I think we're supposed to get freezing rain and sleet.  I would rather have snow.   Right now it looks like Mom and Dad shouldn't have any problems driving down on Thursday.  If they can't make it, Saturday or Sunday is fine with me.   The funny thing is both my brother and sister were all worried about what I was going to do with a full Thanksgiving dinner if they can't get here.  I guess they didn't realize I only made reservations.

I should say I have made the whole dinner more than once, but with the iffy weather, I'm really glad I wasn't planning on doing that this year.

I'm watching "Glee" and Carol Burnett is the guest as Sue Sylvester's mother.  They're in the auditorium singing "Ohio" from Wonderful Town but you can see reflections of the camera crew in the very polished piano! :o

But the rest of tonight's "Glee", imho, was wonderful. And, yes, I cried.

Yes, it was.

I saved a little square of the pink carpet that was in good shape because I thought Callie may be upset that it was gone.   She's been sitting on the little square of carpet.  LOL, I'm glad I saved it for her.

There must have been a big spill or water damage of some sort in the past.  There was a huge stain showing on the bottom of that carpet.  Luckily the floors were ok underneath.  Not perfect, but pretty good.   I can post some photos tomorrow.  I took some but don't feel like dealing with it tonight.

I'm fine with the way DWS turned out.  It's exactly what I thought would happen.  I thought they all did a really good job tonight.

Thanks George.   I better get to bed.  It's late and I have court at 9:00.  Just an initial so it will take about 2 min, but if it's icy, it may be a trick to get there.

Of course I knew Ruta knew my aunt.  Ruta is very close with my cousin Dodo (aunt's daughter) and she and her husband Web were always at the Jew dinners in the days when I was actually invited to them.  I occasionally run into Ruta at various events and she's always sweet as can be.
