Druxy, I for one would like to know the actual joke that goes with the infamous punchline.

Actually, I don't think it's a proper joke for mixed company.

DR Elmore - could you bring the Kay Thompson book you're reading when you come for pizza tomorrow?  I'd like to take a look at before I decide whether to order it for my Kindle or get a dead-tree copy.  Eloise was my childhood hero, for Lord's sake!

If I don't forget! It's the only bio of Thompson, so I say go for it!

That is AWSOME. I wish our thanksgivings had that much hilarity. All that really happens is I sit there while the adults talk over each other. Tis the season to bring books, fa la la la la, and pass the mashed potatoes already dang it.

We'll try to be more interesting this year

Warner Archive is having one of their sales this weekend:  5 DVDs (single disc) for $50.00.  Free Shipping.

I just ordered FIVE STAR FINAL, THE UNHOLY THREE (1930), THE CANTERVILLE GHOST, GUN GLORY and THE UNDERWORLD STORY

Truthfully, the Thanksgiving story is funnier than the joke.

Both sound better then the conversation at our last Thanksgiving get together. I swear, I'm planning where I'm hiding in my uncle's house with my D.s, sketch pad, and books already. ...Probably should stash in the Pod too, just in case the cousins turn into a no-show.

Pretty much, ya. It's all club stuff now, so every song is just "another night out in a bar" on the radio. -_-" *Wants to bring back the days of The Police and Beatles*

I doubt I'm anywhere NEAR their intended audience. I have danced to the music though, I'll admitt it. But come on, it's what you do at junior prom.

I'm ok and nice and warm in my livingroom right now, DR Vixter.  But in about two hours I will be traveling over the river and through the woods to my sister's house for Thanksgiving dinner...

Man, you ought to have DR Kerry over for a holiday meal.

Not only is he tolerant of my bad cooking -- we have lots of fun!
