Oh DR DRUXY, I was about to post the line that provoked that response.

I am going to do a little shopping today......and spend all of my money.

I bought the first 3 seasons of MAD MEN for about $32.00 on regular DVD - the Blu Ray discs were on sale but would not ship for 4-5 weeks!

Thanks to DR JOSE for pointing this sale out on Sunday.

DR FJL, can you check your SPIDER MAN program and see what Luther Creek is doing in the show?

Good morning, all! I slept late today with no ear plugs; the super confirmed that the Oaf has officially moved out and tirned in is keys, so I guess I am hearng only the sounds of his coming back to pick up what's left in the apartment. Fantastic! I hope the new neighbors, whenever they show up, are better tenants.

I've got the mail to pick up so I will head out shortly and take care of that. I've not a phone conversation with the McGlinnventory paralegal on how to proceed next, and - following that - some lyrics to type and the last two BALLET BALLADS to edit. I've only been promising the score to Susanna Moross Tarjan for three months!

Tuesday morning greetings!  It's very gloomy here in SW Ohio today - must be because DR Elmore left yesterday.  I have a (routine) doctor's appointment this morning, a couple of errands, and then I'll come home to continue decking the halls.

One of my favorite (and often repeated) lines came from the flop musical PLATINUM, where Alexis Smith's faded movie queen character is recounting when she realized her career was going nowhere:  "It was either when I was doing HELLO, DOLLY in Cleveland, Ohio or when I was doing MAME in Columbus, Ohio or when I started doing HELLO, DOLLY in the middle of MAME in Cincinnati, Ohio."

Jrand - Luther Creek plays one of the Bullies - named "Kong" - and is also in the ensemble.

It says he studied with Marcel Marceau.  Do you think he's enjoy my parody of MAME called MIME?  :)

Laura, go to bed!

I did. And I took Spats with me. He burrowed down under the covers to keep warm.

I want to adopt Spats. Does he have a passport?

I have two - COUNT 'EM  !!TWO!! - shopping bags of mail and packages. I think it's Christmas.

Except nothing's a gift.

I'm listening to Kathleen Battle's (she's crazy, ya know?) Christmas album. She sounds wonderful, but the boys' choir needs a pitch adjustment.

Laura, I'm glad you took my advice. Boy, if the cat needs to burrow down to keep warm it must be cold in Phoenix!
