Morning (barely, but still), all!

Gotta think about the TOD, but two off the top of my head:

* "Sometimes I wonder if the fornicating I'm getting is worth the fornicating I'm getting" - Pippin
* "Nobody wants to be a lawyer - that's why they have to pay them so much" - Stand up Tragedy

Whoa!

Susan Boyle started singing "O Holy Night" on "The View"... About 30 seconds into it, her voice cracked... And a couple of seconds later she stopped singing, and motioned to stop her accompanying track...

-She - and Whoopi and Sherri - handled it all very well.

I'm up.  I've been up since about four-thirty.  So, four hours of sleep.  I just stayed in bed like so much fish - so many things in Ye Olde Cranium.

Well...

It's currently in the mid-60s here in Richmond. Alas, it's a bit gray, and rain is in the forecast with storms supposed to move in later tonight.

In other words, good napping weather... Which I'm sure I'll be doing since I don't think I slept for more than an 45 minutes at a time last night.

Jose it sounds like you had a rough night.  I hope the Pepsid helped.  Both Tums & pepsid tend to make me sick.

You remind me of my mom, except instead of a list she writes the date in the front of the book so if she picks it up again, she knows she read it.   Of course this doesn't apply of she's in the bookstore and buys a book she's already read

That's funny.  I've stopped collecting books and use the library more and more or I might try that.  I began keeping a list of books I have read on the computer.  I also have a list of books I want which I try to take with me when I'm at the book store.  If I keep to the list I won't repeat a book.

Ok, here is my TOD choice:

Gen. Bullmoose: [talking about Appassionata von Climax] She works for me. She gets a salary, and she sort of lives in my house.

Li'l Abner Yokum: [to Appassionata von Climax] Really? Does that mean you gets bed and board, ma'm?

Appassionata Von Climax: Extremely!

My favorite from LI'L ABNER (paraphrasing here):

(Referencing a 14 year old girl): "Don't you think it's time she got married?"

Marryin' Sam: "Just as soon as her divorce goes through!"

Well... I thought I had some Pepcid in my bag, but... However, I did have some Tums - which didn't help - as well as some Rolaids - which didn't help either.  If I wasn't so tired, I would have gotten dressed and driven to the 24-hour Walgreen's, but... :-\

I think because I read so many series I don't have trouble remembering what i've read. Although I have now started keeping track on the computer too.

I'm sorry to hear that also. I'm not surprised but I am disappointed. It's a powerful piece of music theatre and I hope that it has some life in other regional companies. I hope Joshua Henry is remembered at Tony time in June.

I would like to have seen Scottsboro Boys - but it is no surprise that it is closing, and it was even more surprising that investors actually got talked into bankrolling it.

Back from a nice breakfast meeting at the Studio Cafe - for a place that's supposed to do most of its business at breakfast, we were the only ones in the jernt.

CONGRATS to BK and KRITZERLAND for their patience and persistence on the mailing issues. Hopefully, much labor and frustration saved in the coming months. CLEAR SAILING AHEAD!

I wish I had had one last night. But this morning's nap was nice while it lasted.

I have been evaluated and remain a quality employee for another year (which will be my 20th).

I'm just glad it's over.

Tomorrow is it for 2010! Hooray.
