If we're going to start keeping track of spelling errors here, we need to hire additional help.  :)

I've been listening to the three-disc Dr. T release, which should be my favorite disc of the year and isn't.  Why?  Because it's sequenced in such a silly way, that's why.  Disc one is the complete score as recorded for a film that doesn't exist - it was cut down and released the way it was, therefore the FIRST thing I want to hear is the soundtrack to the film that exists.  THEN give me the extras.  In fact, you don't get to the soundtrack to the film as released until track 21 of disc three - why on earth would anyone put it where you can't get to it easily?  Furthermore, this is all from acetates and the quality ranges from a little better than okay to really bad.  I think my vinyl transfer guy could have probably cleaned it up a bit better, but it is what it is.

From Cilla:
Quote
You remind me of my mom, except instead of a list she writes the date in the front of the book so if she picks it up again, she knows she read it.   Of course this doesn't apply of she's in the bookstore and buys a book she's already read

That's funny.  I've stopped collecting books and use the library more and more or I might try that.  I began keeping a list of books I have read on the computer.  I also have a list of books I want which I try to take with me when I'm at the book store.  If I keep to the list I won't repeat a book.

I think because I read so many series I don't have trouble remembering what i've read. Although I have now started keeping track on the computer too.

If you keep up with your favorite authors it is much easier to remember which books you have read.  Sometimes I can go a long while in-between books.

I have been evaluated and remain a quality employee for another year (which will be my 20th).

I'm just glad it's over.

Tomorrow is it for 2010! Hooray.

Jose it sounds like you had a rough night.  I hope the Pepsid helped.  Both Tums & pepsid tend to make me sick.

Well... I thought I had some Pepcid in my bag, but... However, I did have some Tums - which didn't help - as well as some Rolaids - which didn't help either.  If I wasn't so tired, I would have gotten dressed and driven to the 24-hour Walgreen's, but... :-\

As if the lovely Peter Filicia mention of my book in his gift-giving column wasn't enough, here's another - this one from a DC theater site:

http://dctheatrescene.com/2010/11/30/holiday-gift-guide/

Scroll down to the books.

"Farnsworth Alley"??

;)

And "Larry More". ::)

-Shall I leave a comment, DR George? Or shall you?

Oh...I didn't see that one.  I just jumped down to BK's book.

Thanks. I hope they don't catch it, too, seeing how I kept him separate for several days until he started to get a little better and then let him out to roam the house.

I have officially decreed that we are taking no more new clients this year.  It's just been too crazy and we have lots of work to do.  Edith agreed that it was a good idea.   This week alone I have 14 appointments 6 court hearings and 3 briefs to write.   I'm not complaining, I'd rather be busy than the alternative, but breathing is a good thing too.

I noticed.  What about taking Spats to be with the other kittens during adoption hours?  Will they keep him separate?

Spats has calici virus (or something like that). I was advised that he will always have it and/or be a carrier of it. Stress will make it flare up and that I should make sure he goes to the adoption bus and back home until he gets adopted and not go to the shelter again to cut down on the stress. And if I know of anyone who would like to adopt him, that would be even better.

SO sorry to hear this Laura.  I just read about it on the net and many many vibes your other cats don't get it

Well...

I think, well, I'm pretty sure I'm just going to head back tomorrow at Noon instead of later tonight at Midnight. I'm still feeling a bit spacey after waking from my nap, and since I just had dinner, I suspect my acid reflux will be kicking back in soon again too. -Although, I really hope it doesn't.  -It also looks like the bus will be driving along with a storm line all the way up to NYC tonight. No bueno.
