Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Has there ever been a full length movie that was filmed entirely in close-ups?

Elmore's VCR might know.

I'm first after bk---I must be up early!

Usually the cats wake me up at 5:30 but today it's Greg as he leaves for a shoot, flying on the Chik-Fil-A corporate jet. Wonder if they serve Chik-Fil-A on board?

I have never tasted Chik-Fil-A.

A few days ago, I learned that the screenwriter of THE KING'S SPEECH is David Seidler.

David and I were at the University of Washington Drama School together back in 1959-60.

And still able to work at his age!

So, enough bad news; let's cut to the good. I spoke to Ben thirty minutes ago on my bus ride home. He had to wait eight hours for a room yesterday and wasn't given one until 11:45 last night. He's on IV's and feeling much better today. The primary concern is a decision about trying to drain the abscess tomorrow, which sounds quite unpleasant, and since his ailment involves the alimentary system, he can eat no solid food.

He did reinforce his comment that he is feeling much better.

I hope he didn't to wait eight hours to begin the I.V.    I'm glad he is feeling better.  Thank you for the report.  When shall we expect the next one?

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm tired of having the ConEd man as my alarm clock.

Well, that depends on what he looks like.

As I came back from the market, I saw that all of the crap the Oaf Above Me left sitting in the basement when he moved out is finally sitting out on the curb for the trashmen. Fantastic!

The Oaf has left the bulding.

:)

Now the Oaf is gone vibes your check arrives tomorrow.

One of my Wednesday morning hiking group members invited is over to his house after the hike for cornbread, coleslaw, coffee & pie.  The blueberry pie was delicious.  The crust was butter, brown sugar & oats.  I think that was all.  His wife is very talented & showed us her sculptures.  She also sews and knits.  We each left with knitted dish cloths & scrubbing cloths.  I've never seen knitted pot scrubbers before.

I mentioned I had been looking for a Christmas bandanna and our organizer said she had left over material at home & she would make him one.  Within an hour after I returned home she called to say his bandanna was ready.  She she lives near the hiking trails Sherlock & I took off for the bandanna & a short, 45 minutes, but sweet hike.

After returning home from our hike I had just enough time to eat lunch and head back out for PT.

That seems like an unusual combination of food items

It was cornbread with peppers, most of which I picked out, that went well with the slaw.  I don't know what kind of coleslaw it was only that it was very different from what I get in Jewish deli's.  I'm sure they both went well with the lima bean soup which I passed on since it had sausage in it.  The pie was sitting on the counter opposite the other food & I'm not sure they planned on serving it until I commented on how good it looked.  It was yummy.

Question for bk- On the Laurie Beechman recording of "God Bless Us Everyone" - there is a childrens choir.   Question is, are they real children? If so, who are they and how did you contract them?

Yes they were real children.  We tried to get some pretend children but couldn't find any :)  I don't remember how we found them, actually - we used children on several of our recordings, though.

Seriously, it is the holiday season and we're not going into the toilet, kiddies.  So, I suggest a frenzy or three.
