I miss having cardinal's in the yard.

They are a treat - unlike the Blue Jays, they play nicely with others.

Well, I must be going.  I have to deliver a couple of DVD-Rs to a friend, buy a watch for my sister to give to her daughter and then go to my parents' house for our gift exchangings.  But first, I must shower and get dressed and then I can leave.

Or have a liitle priest, not as hardy as bishop, perhaps, but then not as bland as curate, either.

Afternoon all.

We are on Long Island after an uneventful train trip.

I had some chicken with rice and then took my meds and a nap.

I feel good and it's very nice to be out here for a few days.

I, too, enjoy DR Ron's Christmas adventures, both past and present, memorable and not.

Druxy, I defy you not to guess the putative "big twist" in SALT (the one toward the end).  I saw it coming within seconds of the film's setup.

Actually, my wife and I both suspected it almost from the beginning...but neither of us said anything.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie.  I liked the fact that most of the action looked like well devised stunts, rather than CGI.

On the other hand, I felt that during the last half of the picture, the story (i.e. the twists) became a bit too far-fetched for my taste.

I have sliced, diced, minced and peeled (forgot the peeling) and now onions, mushrooms, and garlic are cooking, after which we begin concocting the red stuff that goes around it.  Then I can go pick up a package - I may even do a jog.
