Since the water for the pasta takes a long time to boil (I'm making four or five pounds of spaghetti noodles) I'm going to start boiling at five-thirty.

START BOILING AT 5:30--that's the name of my next Broadway review...

By the way, has there ever been a version of "Greensleeves" that actually includes the word greensleeves?

I'm starting to make my shrimp dip.  This may be the last year I can make it.  It is getting  harder and harder to mix it together with the arthritis in my hands.

DR TCB, does it have to be hand-mixed?  Can't you use an electric mixer at low speed?

I think I wore the same color pants when I played the Girl's Father in THE FANTASTICKS.

The problem with using a mixer is the cream cheese.  It all gets clogged on the beaters.

Now i'm in the mood for some lime sherbert.  Lime sherbert with hot fudge sauce.  But all I have is mint chocolate ship ice cream and chocolate Redi-whip.

Watching the Purdue Christmas Show that's being shown on the NJ PBS channel.  It's surprisingly old-school type of presentation (considering what influence GLEE must be having on school music programs.)  But I'm not complaining--I'm enjoying.

TCB, if you got Mr. Greensleeves there for Christmas, he could make your shrimp dip for you.

Just finishing up "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol" while taking the second pie from the oven. All is right with the world.

It's way too late for this, but this is my favorite Christmas CD this year:

It calls itself the alternate Yuletide collection, but it's actually a terrific collection of odd holiday songs from the 40's and 50's.  I highly recommend it to all fellow baby boomers.  For next year...

IMHO, MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL has the scariest Ghost of Christmas Future.

A Broadway Christmas is now on repeat (as always for the Do) and everything has been done, save for lighting the candles.

Just got an e-mail from Jane saying their DSL modem just died.  Isn't that always the way - on a holiday when there's nothing to be done?  I hate when that happens.  She sends her love to everyone here for a very merry Christmas.

I guess no one uses dial-up these days.  Or knows how to switch over to it in an emergency.  I know I don't anymore...

Ah-ha--this Purdue Christmas Show is from two years ago.  Pre-GLEE.  I imagine they wouldn't do this kind of program now...
