TOD: I don't know enough about Jimmy Webb to know which songs are usually his. I forgot "Wichita Lineman" or "MacArthur Park" were his until reading the posts. So, here goes:

"Wichita Lineman," Glen Campbell
"MacArthur Park," Donna Summer (because it is so awful)
"The Moon's a Harsh Mistress," Christine Andreas

Which do you find awful?  The song?  Or Donna Summer?
Donna Summer's performance.

Loved the Sherlock photos. Am glad I'm not in the snow, though.

George, I just found out that Christian Doyle is in your show!

That's right.  I've seen him in a couple of shows here in Olympia.

I should have opened the article.  It has been dropped for the remainder of the season. ;D

Ahh.

The image from my table at a Korean restaurant at lunch today. Love those heels.

Well, I got a call earlier today from our director...tonight's rehearsal is cancelled.  Big surprise.  It's supposed to get down to 18°F tonight and up to 34°F tomorrow.  At least we're at the very beginning of rehearsals and not during performances!

I hope you're not doing outdoor performances!

No, but in the past, TAO did their big musical in December and every time, they've lost money due to cancelled performances because of the weather.  Having the show in April, the weather shouldn't be a problem and missing early rehearsals won't be a problem, either.  There's enough time to make up the missed days.

I'm really glad my brother called mom and dad and took them to see The King's Speech tonight.  I knew they would love it and they planned to go, I think they just forgot about it

Finished my viewing at eight, and then decided to write the contextual commentary for the next Gardenia show - great to have that out of the way.  I'm sure I'll finesse it over the next few days, but at least the basics are done.
