My Carole Lombard one-woman play is now available in an Acting Edition.

If anybody knows any actresses who might be right for the role, please forward this link:

I suppose I should finish my tax return.  Fortunately, I received the statement from Musicares which states the tax deductible portion of my ticket for Ms. Streisand's tribute.

DR JMK is right about EBATES.  I joined and then I always start at their site when I am paying for something on EBAY and I have earned about $12 in two months by basically doing nothing.

Good morning, all! I am not in the best of moods these days. There's big a huge crink in the EILEEN copy situation that makes me quite unhappy, and I'm tired of expending energy on jobs that don't run smoothly, tired of flogging workers for product, and I'm tired of coworkers' lies.  This is going to be a tense week. I'm not happy at the current situation at all.

So, I'm irritable and crabby.

That's my news.

Someone asked about WONDERLAND, the new Frank Wildhorn musical? After seeing the poster, several photos, and knowing the level of Mr Wildhorn's music, I have no urge to pass by the theatre. God knows what the critics are going to report, but I did enjoy this person's review:

I had purchased a TDF ticket a while back to see Wonderland. I must have been tired when I bought it because I didn't look closely enough at the final details. I thought I had purchased a Wednesday evening ticket (8pm) when, in fact, I had purchased a Wednesday afternoon ticket (2pm). The computers had come during the time I was to see the show. I took my little TDF printout, left the desktop set up until the next day and got on the F train to go to the Marquis Theatre. I then looked at the printout for the TDF ticket and noticed it was for the afternoon performance. We had just passed 23rd Street on the train. We got to 34th Street, I exited the train, went up the stairs to the downtown side and took the next F train back to 16th St. I then proceeded to set up the desktop. I think I was not destined to see the show because despite it's availability on TDF (every day for every performance) I have not purchased another ticket. I don't  think I'm missing anything.

Wonderland is, technically, Dear Wife Joy's Broadway debut.  It was cast by her company, Clemmons/Dewing.  Along with Rain and Driving Miss Daisy, they have three shows on Broadway.  It's a shame she's not in town for the opening.

As has happened twice before, talented people have decided (with no urging from me) to do a revue of my songs.  The Things We Do For Love http://www.stevenbidwell.com/ThingsWeDoForLove/Welcome.html plays May 2 & 3 at The Duplex in Greenwich Village.  Funny + sexy = extremely hot ticket.  Come see; say hello.

Of course all of this pales in comparison to this coming November's big production...

DR Ben - I have a feeling that the staff a the Marquis would have honored your TDF voucher as a "past date" ticket. You may have just had to wait until closer to the show time to get a replacement ticket, exact seat location.

Well... If you feel like walking a block east,  I believe Alex is working the bar at the brunch shift at Ditch Plains today. Sounds like you could use a good and strong - and spicy! - Bloody Mary. ;)
