Hollywood Moulin Rouge Dance.....

I recall seeing AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' there with my client, Nell Carter.

You attended the show with Nell Carter; or you saw Nell Carter in the show?

She was my publicity client.  I saw her do the show there.

I'm just catching up on last night's posts.

DR TCB, how bizarre to have a dyslexic doctor who doesn't have someone check what he writes. That is the craziest thing. And scary!

I apologize that I referred to the doctor as dsylexic.  That was my explanation for her mistake, not the reality.

After reading DR Jennifer's post I had a feeling this would be your response. ;D

Bob is apparently doing well and enjoying his medication. Thanks for the vibes.

Good news.  I hope they keep him inside from now on where dogs can't get to him.

Went to Richard's funeral this evening. Extremely well attended. His wife was holding up as best as could be expected. I didn't stay for the rosary.

Everyone please celebrate Maundy Thursday by washing a stranger's feet!

The disciples were hardly strangers to Jesus.  Jesus washed their feet to show that the master is equal to the servant.

Just figured out that I've driven almost 500 miles in the past 36 hours.  No wonder I'm tired - 'night!

Last night Keith & I watched THE KINGS SPEECH.  It was everything I expected it to be and I'm glad it won best movie & best actor awards.  We plan to watch it again.

Playbill Online sent me this great discount offer for the current Broadway hits(?).

Born Yesterday - Revival
Catch Me If You Can - Broadway version of a movie
House of Blue Leaves  - Revival
Jerusalem  - Import
Priscilla Queen of the Desert - Broadway version of a movie
Wonderland  - Retread

Such originality!

JR, I've been meaning to tell you:  VARIETY was rather unkind about ATLAS SHRUGGED PART 1.  And by rather unkind, I mean viciously dismissive.  ;)

Thank you, all, for the wishes. Now, just hope I can finish this last paper up in the next couple of days. I've sailed through everything form 1959 except "Gypsy,' which to paraphrase another Sondheim show, sums it all up and blows it wide open.

It's also my favorite of the shows, which makes it harder to write about. But I'm tired now. So, I need to have a dream before I can get back to reality.

Time Warner must be having their now nightly stupid attack, where they decide to screw around with California's Internet.  So tiresome.

Good audience vibes for DR George!

Thanks, Jane!  They were a small, but appreciative audience. :)

Here is a link to a whole slew of incredible photos - and yes, you'll find one of the Moulin Rouge with the big Queen For A Day poster on the side where C'est La Vie is above.  I am bowled over by the facebook site called Vintage LA - just check out all these photos - the back and forward arrows will let you go back and forward.

That's pretty cool!  There are some great pictures within the 1156 photos!
