I can't seem to quote anybody.
Not even Shakespeare?

Just watched the news reports of the severe weather in St. Louis and other parts of the midwest... I hope all DRs and their families are out of harm's way.

I guess it's apropos--I have bits and pieces of JESUS CHRIST, SUPERSTAR going through me head.  I'm trying to shift to GODSPELL (which I prefer) but it's not working.

Some men are born to live at ease, doing what they please, richer than the bees are in honey
Never growing old, never feeling cold, pulling pots of gold from thin air
The best in every town, bst at shaking down, best at making mountains of money
They can't take it with them but what do they care?

Does that help?

There have been a few times when someone has sung the first part of that song at an audition...

When you feel sad
Or under a curse.
Your life is bad,
Your prospects are worse...

...And I will go ahead and do the taps/softshoe/woodblock at/on the piano with my knuckles. :)

Thank you to DRs Laura and Jose for the travel vibes!  We got back about an hour ago, having driven through thunderstorms all along the way.  The lightening was pretty spectacular - and scary.  We've had some popcorn and fruit.

Oh, Ginny:  eBates daily double is eBags, 12% cash back.  eBags is having a 20%-50% off sale right now including VERA BRADLEY.  :)

No-o-o-o, DR JMK, please don't tell me this!

Thank You for all the Birthday Wishes for my niece and goddaughter, Emily. I did get to speak to her earlier today - and she actually spoke to me! Of course, she passed off the phone to her sister, Alyssa, before I got a chance to wish her a Happy Birthday. -And then when I asked if she would get back on the phone again... "Noooooo..."

At least she's consistent. ;)

How old is Alyssa now? Wasn't she the one who cried when you looked at her?

Well, let's see...

Emily is now 5.
John Michael is 12.
And Alyssa is now 10.

I think. ::)

And. yes, she used to cry when she would see me. In fact, so did John Michael. As did Emily. Hmmm...

We took a drive this afternoon to Ada, OH, to look around Ohio Northern University.  It's about 15 miles east of Lima and the alma mater of our niece Jen.  Apparently classes were not in session in observance of Good Friday, but a grounds crew was working at the pond.  They were replacing the NO ICE SKATING sign with one that says NO SWIMMING.  Spring must be just around the corner...

Listening to the first of our two masters - sounds really good and what beautiful music.  Another project is on its way here and I'll have to then listen to that.

I enjoy the TV ad that asks "Which came first, the bacon or the egg"  but I can't recall what the ad is for.

Wow, St. Louis Airport looking pretty bad after being hit by storm, possible tornado.  Airport is closed indefinitely.  One of the shuttle vans is on top of the roof!

I took today off.  Had a too greasy breakfast at Black Bear Diner, went to The Lincoln Lawyer (liked the book much better than the movie, but may have liked the movie if i didn't know what was going to happen).  Went to an open house at a local nursery and just sat.

I love Black Bear, Cillaliz. I don't go often, though.

DR MBarnum - Are you planning to see "When Harry Tries To Marry"?

I hadn't hear of it, until you mentioned it. Just took a look a the trailer and it looks very cute. Might have to see it!
