Tomorrow is a half-day at the office.

We are not going out to Long Island. We will stay in the city (and it's supposed to be raining for at least one of those days) and do whatever we fancy.

Anthony has some records to transfer to CD and we have Downton Abbey to watch as well as The Duchess of Duke Street. A friend loaned us the DVDs. We may have a full  holiday weekend of viewing.

I've begun to ride the exercise bike again (more consistently) and I'm sure I will have at least an hour on that every day this weekend.

I have to look my best for a family reunion in Michigan. It's in August. It should be fun (he said full of hope).

Comcast man says someone in the office... some new person...has been erasing people's HD codes.....so it should be fine.  He left his number to call if it goes crazy again.

Question:

What is the name of the classic movie where a guy hires a hit man to kill him, then changes his mind...but can't locate the hit man?

Thanks.

Was it 1954's "Paid to Kill" with Dane Clark?

Valley of the Dolls

After only 16 hours of rehearsal we're in pretty good shape. The show seems a little "Jesus and Mary" heavy so we cut two numbers for tomorrow's presentation, and I think it will play well. Since it's all music, everyone's thinking far more of their music than their characters, but it's only after 16 hours. I'm just hoping someone likes what we've assembled. The cast is a wonderful group of people and I really appreciate their offering their time and talents .

I will take a break, get a bit of lunch and some allergy meds. After that, it's back to proofreading EILEEN scores
