One of the comments on Amazon said the beliefs in "I Believe" are correct

Yes! For all the profanity, it's very respectful of the real Book of Mormon. Or, at the very least, accurate.

I always celebrate and love theater.  GOOD theater.  I see no reason to celebrate and/or love bad theater, just as I see no reason to celebrate and/or love bad cinema, bad food, bad books, bad car service, but that's just me.

Good theatre is not an accident.....it certainly helps if everyone on the team is doing the SAME show....sometimes I wonder....when I see clips or songs from shows.....  I think William Goldman wrote very well about this in THE SEASON....guess it's still happening.

Oh dear...I don't have any

I suppose you could take a shot for either partner or God; but don't blame us if you oversleep in the morning.

But there's also "objectively bad" and "subjectively bad".

As for me, all in all, no major complaints. Yet. ;)

They certainly featured Andrew; they must think he's getting the best performer award. I hope he does.

DR JOSE is correct - it is doing what it said it would.....celebrate the CURRENT Broadway season.....and there has been very little if any NON-Broadway related segments.....yet

There have been a lot of award winners with mediocre scores. I liked the BOOK OF MORMON number better than Marc Shaiman's number, and I love Marc.

I've got to call Hochman for a house seat!

Good Luck!  *I put in a request for a house seat two weeks ago with one of the actors. Nothing available until October!

But Larry H may have a different contract. ;)

Pretentious jerks.

I think it's great that they're able to laugh at themselves and their show and all it's problems.

And knowing people in the show, those two "pretentious jerks" have been amazingly supportive of their cast, and humbled by their talent, efforts and energy.
