The Casey Anthony case has now gone to the jury. My heart is beating like a wild thing.

Should we call you Nancy Grace?

I just wanted DR JMK to know. I don't really give a damn.

JMK hasn't posted in quite a while. I wonder if he turned off the tv and went outside to play?

The Bicentennial was 35 years ago.  ???  :P  :o  ???

Yes, it was, DR Kerry.

And I wonder if DR Elmore remembers celebrating it here in Middletown, OH?

Was elmore in the non-equity tour of HAIR?

we are watching JOHN ADAMS

Ah, but how about the "JOHN & ABIGAIL ADDAMS FAMILY" theme, which I trot out every year for the second year in a row

In the spirit of 1776, hope it's OK to bring out this oldie, which assumes a knowledge of the lyrics to "Yours Yours Yours" from "1776"

JOHN & ABIGAIL ADDAMS FAMILY theme song

Thanks if you have time to include this in your July 4 celebration, (it's under 90 seconds)

LOVE IT.

I went passed TCM very quickly and had the misfortune to see some of Mr William Daniels in the worst excuse for a musical ever written....1776.

UGH!

Ouch!  My vote would still go to LOST HORIZON.

Rehearsal went well - she just marked it but had all the ography we did last time down pat.  Then her father made us some barbecue wieners and there was cole slaw and potato salad and baked beans.  I had two dogs (total calories 320), two helpings of potato salad (made with low-fat mayo) and cole slaw (no calories - made with just slaw and a little orange juice).  So, all in I've probably had less than eight hundred calories and I burned four hundred so that means I can now go eat a piece of chocolate peanut butter cake.

We had a delightful time at the cookout.  Mike and Katie provided, in addition to the venue, make-your-own-shish kabobs for the main course.  The rest of us brought side dishes and desserts.  Nice mix of people we knew and people we just met tonight.

Where is everybody indeed.  Most unseemly.  You'd think it was the fourth of July or something.

Everyone is gone and I am exhausted.  I feel like I've eaten five pounds of food which is, I think, the result of the dieting and a shrunken tummy.

I was in college in July of 1776 - our theatre dept ran a month long production of 1776

I was head of makeup dept - my then boyfriend played Caesar Rodney

Were you really in school in 1776?. If you were, you look fantastic!!!

thank you thank you --- I guess I'm  not too bad for 254....

I am sitting in my recliner with the cats.  Fireworks will soon start about 3 blocks from here, but I don' t think I'll deal with the bugs to watch them.  it was a nice show last night over the lake.  That's good enough for me this year.   I'll stay home and make sure the cats don't freak out when the big booms start

Good Evening!

Well... I've spent most of today watching TV - mainly "How the States Got Their Shapes" on The History Channel, various shows on The Cooking Channel, and then A Capitol Fourth on PBS.

Meanwhile.... My scores have sat on the kitchen table...
