The sound layback went extremely well and easily. It didn't really need any EQ as that would have caused more problems than it would have solved. It sounds better than the DVD and as good as it's ever going to sound considering it's never sounded very good. We fixed the little rubbery synch in the intro to the first musical number, and we had to use the end credits song from the DVD, as for some reason there were a lot of little weird jumps in the transfer of my print. We also realized that the trailer on the DVD is different than the one I had the negative for, which had no sound. So, we'll use the original Paramount trailer from the DVD and probably upscale it for the Blu-Ray, and the other trailer we'll include without sound, just as an additional extra.
