Good morning, all! I've been up since 7:30, but I had an important email to write and send. I'm ready for my second cup of coffee and about to clean off my writing table to begin some second edits. I need to call my friend Richard this morning and talk to him about his medical tests and diagnosis. Thank you, all, again for the vibes and good wishes.

DR cillaliz, I'm still craving oatmeal cookies.

DR JRand60, have you given your report yet?

Today feels like a Sunday to me, but I will be working at home on second edits of EILEEN.  I need some exercise, so I may take a walk shortly.

I made Tony Torn laugh uncontrollably when I told him my oft-quoted anecdote about being forced to talk to Rip and Gerry at some G-d-awful hour of the morning due to one of my Uncles' need to prove he "knew people."  Oy.  This made Tony delivering Rip's eulogy for that selfsame Uncle rather difficult.  ;)

These word games remind me of one of Betsy's New Yawker friends who came to our wedding.  Betsy was talking about our sister-in-law Ahuva (the feminine form of the Hebrew word Ahava, meaning Love), and Margie shouted out, "Ahuva?  Ahuva?  That sounds like a vacuum cleaner!"
