The popular game in this room at the moment is to grab the plastic tear strip from a package of lunch meat with your teeth and run through the room with it with everyone chasing you. Then you growl.

DR Sandra comes up with the strangest games. Don't let her swallow the plastic.

No payment in today's post and no word from my inquiry about the situation. This is most frustrating and distressing. I don't know how to proceed.

Is she well? DR Sandra? Is she well?

That's a Eudora Welty reference.

I must have accidentally deleted the toilet paper video I wanted to post. The other one was better.

Today's Snarky Fox News Comment Department:  Good Lord, does Martha MacCallum ever say "uh" and "um" a lot (in fact her name is appropriate--MacCall-UM).  There should be a drinking game.  You'd be smashed within 35 secondsl

Ever since I've been a member of Toastmasters  I become more aware  people who use those crutch words. Toaster "frowns" on the Uhs and Ums. At our group we are clicked to make us aware that we are doing it. Even NPR hosts like Terry  Gross (Fresh Air) does it a lot. And yes our President also does it

Is the TOD asking what our top-of-the-list handful of personal favorites are?  or are we doing lists of ones we listen to a lot?

For me it is songs I listen to a lot.

I cannot even imagine getting eight hours of sleep at night. I don't think I have had that much sleep since before the kids were born.

Well, if you had gotten that many hours os sleep back then, you proably wouldn't have the kids.

But at least the A/C in Arena works VERY well.  I had to wear a sweater in rehearsal. Next time, I'll need to wear woolen socks too! -And when I stepped outside, my skin and my eyeglasses "fogged" up.
