I learned yesterday that my financial adviser, whose wife was born in Norway, was in Oslo last week visiting.

They were 2 blocks away when that explosion occurred.

Thankfully, neither of them...nor friends or family...were killed or injured in either attack.

Oh, my, DR Druxy - that's not too many "degrees of separation" from those awful events.  Glad to hear your friends and their families are safe.

In other late breaking Terry Baxter plays Bacharach news:  Terry's version of "Nikki" (better known to many of us of a certain age as the Movie of the Week Theme) includes a verse I have never heard before nor have ever seen published in any of the many printed versions I have of this song.

Today is one of those rare days where the Websense software isn't working, and I'm able to log in from work. I wonder how often this happens. I should try it more often. Maybe it's not all that rare after all.

I'm also wondering if a chicken salad sandwich with American cheese and bacon is really lower in fat and calories than a chili cheese dog. Mayonaisse has a lot of fat and calories, as does cheese and bacon.

TOD:
I haven't seen many Warren Beatty films. I can only think of two: "Shampoo" and "Reds." For a long time, "Reds" was my favorite film of all time. Even though it was very long, and included an intermission, I saw it in the theater TWICE. I saw "Shampoo" on television, decades after it first came out. It was cute, but seemed very dated by then.

My food website, www.SavorSA.com, was selected by San Antonio Magazine as one of three must-read blogs in their Best of ... issue that was just released. That was nice news.

Congratulations!

Well he can play all of the old Walter Brennan movie parts after he's fixed up.

After she gets dentures made for Joshie, she can launch a product line called "FeliDent"....to hold those feline dentures in place.

TOD:

Hmmmm....looking at Mr. Beatty's credits I see that I have never seen a Warren Beatty film. I have, however, seen him in the TV series THE MANY LOVES OF DOBIE GILLIS and an episode of ONE STEP BEYOND.

But, out of those I still have no favorite.

He is a bit overdressed in that scene from the production.

Back from the Blu and Ray authoring place - met with a very nice guy, went over menu options and style and look and all content to be included.  It's four to six weeks from this point on for the authoring phase.  Since we'll have music on the menus, I was thinking of using Grant's version of the title song.  Or we could put the overture on a loop, but Grant's is so much fun - what do you all think.
