Funny little day.  I really got sick to my stomach after paying the obscene number of bills.  Then the Pool Man arrived and has been here ever since installing a whole new electronic system for the pool and Jacuzzi since the other was kaput.  So, I did the four-mile jog, ate a bacon cheeseburger and no fries or onion rings, and have been doing some work on our next release.

Hey, Gang.

I'm in Michigan and having a good time.

I have to sign out now and leave for dinner. Just wanted to say hi.

Hi, Ben!  Have a great time!

I used to have a cat named Sneezy. She was always sneezy; it never ended.

Hmmm....."used to have" and "it never ended."

Where is Sneezy now?

Well, I'm off.  I'm going to Seattle for a Seattle Storm basketball game.  It'll be fun!

Be back later. :)

Vibes for vixmom's dad post-surgery.

Vibes for the vixter who apparently thought it was so hot she slept standing up with her head resting in the freezer of the Mann refrigerator...and had to see a chiropractor on account of her neck freezing in that same position.

Last I looked there were four people on here, none of whom could be bothered to say a peep.  Well, poop.  If we can't have a peep then poop and if we can't have a poop well peep.  Two HOURS since elmore's post.  This will NOT do.

Bruce I'm sorry you have lost another person you care about.  It is sad how few cancer's can be cured or controlled, yet far too many people don't get tested for the one cancer that is preventable just because the test is so unpleasant.

By a strange stroke of luck I was able to catch Joshie and give him some pain meds. Either I am forgiven or he is high. Or both.

Good.  I've been told they do well without their teeth.  It was something we looked into for Bosco but opted to stay with the meds since the worked.  Pulling the teeth have fewer side effects than the meds do.

They said after it heals from the surgery he will be pain free. I didn't realize he was in such pain.

I didn't realize it was so painful.  I'm sure the meds, when they work, solve that as well.  I hope tomorrow is a much better day.

I believe I will do mostly madrigals for Advent and Christmas this year.  I have some great archival scores here and the congregation has some fabulous recorder/flute players.
There might be a setting of Appalachian carols available. I remember hearing something about that.

TOD:

CD - I just finished the audiobook version of Ann Patchett's The Magician's Assistant narrated by Karen Ziemba.  The characters were interesting, but not much happened and the ending was very abrupt.  Karen does a great job, especially with the Midwestern accent.

DVD - we have some Big Bang Theory episodes to watch while we eat pizza tonight.
I thought the ending was abrupt, too. She built all this tension and suddenly it was over. Where'd everybody go? What happened? I felt cheated that everything was resolved so quickly.
