DR George, did you download my email?

I almost forgot!  I'm downloading it now.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

My mood after THE TALK brightened considerably after a Facebook message from conductor John Wilson!

Are you friends with John Wilson? He's getting lots and lots of play on my BBC radio stations these past two weeks because of the release of the CD you posted.

I heard an interview where he talked about restoring the scores for many of the MGM musicals and how almost none of the printed material exists anymore. It was all thrown away in the 70s around the time MGM decided to sell off the back lot and all the sets, costumes and props. He's done a great job with the scores.

He's friends with friends of mine - Ted Chapin, Bruce pomahac, Kim Criswell, Brent Barrett, Caroline O'Connor - and he's a fan of mine, so it was time we met. He conducted those concerts with Brent that lured DR KevinH to England in the last months. When I wasin Dublin, he'd just appeard at the National concert Hall with Kim, and the Irish group on EILEEN thought he was fantastic. His 2011 Proms concert "Hooray For Hollywood" is really spectacular.

Here's Kim Criswell with John Wilson conducting:

I love Kim Criswell!
