Take care, DR Jose!

Thank You, DR Ginny. I am.

Of course, now that the sun has made a reappearance in the skies over NYC today, I really want to go for a nice walk. -I'll most likely go for a nice stroll in Central Park since I'm just two blocks away.

Been E&T due to my own illness for a change.  Had a bad head cold that started Saturday morning and just got worse and worse.  I stayed home from the office and from visiting my mom at the rehab center the past two days and spent the time mostly laying on the sofa and watching Martha Stewart making paper mache bats.  Finally felt well enough this morning to force myself out of the house and into the office (though I still feel a little "iffy".)

In the Good News department:  my mom is getting her walking papers from the rehab center and will be going home tomorrow.  And it couldn't come a day too soon for her--she's at the point where she might pull a Chief Bromden and toss her walker at a window in order to escape.

The past three nights while laying on the sofa I have been absolutey entranced watching the latest Ken Burns documentry, PROHIBITION, on PBS.  I found it completely amazing--it was television that was as infomative and thought-provoking as reading a book!  How often does something like that come along?

And yesterday I received an incredibly lovely package in the mail--the FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL blue-ray disc (with a special autographed cover by BK and Ms. Williams) and a very nice t-shirt, to boot!

Now I really need to go out and buy a blue-ray player...

Thanks, DR FJL!

If you people keep this up, I'll have to put on my red fringed gown and feathered tiara and walk down the center of the grand stairs...

And speaking of Blu-Ray discs, today's Amazon Gold Box deal is "The Mel Brooks Collection". Just FYI.

Got my T-shrit and blu-ray of FNM, also. For some reason I had thought it was going to be a Blu-ray/dvd combo. I do not yet have a Blu-ray machine, so will just hold onto it until that day comes.

I feel like crap today. Went to bed at 7pm last night and slept till almost 6 am this morning. I am hoping it is just the allergies attacking me rather then a cold, since my vacation is only 2 days away.

BK, don't forget to look for Laurie, Kenny and myself on Saturday at the Hollywood show. We likely won't be around until after lunch. I am picking up Laurie in Granada Hills and bringing her back to Burbank. Kenny won't be in town until around 2 pm. He is looking forward to seeing his old buddy Sherry Jackson, who is one of the celebrity guests.

I saw last week that Warners will be releasing season one of THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER.  I'm contemplating it but it's on the pricey side...

I myself am looking forward to meeting Abby Dalton and Van Williams, oh and Peter Brown.

JRand, be sure to let me know if you want any autographs...or course keep in mind that most are asking around 20 bucks now (or more)...kind of spendy, but what can you do.

And now it's time for some stretching followed by some strolling, and then a bit of lunch.
