TOD:

This is tough!  It would be easier to list my least favorite Beatles songs.

My very least favorites are Yesterday and Michelle. :P

I'm happy for anyone who likes them, but I don't.

Zach and I have been laughing all morning about a moment on last night's 60 Minutes.  As some of you know, we have a very heavily involved autistic nephew (Zach's cousin), and Betsy's brother is an internationally famous researcher of dietary solutions to autism, so we have the "right" to laugh about this, but last night there was a segment on iPad apps for autistic kids, and there was this one moment of a teacher asking an autistic kid if he wanted to work, and the kid even before the teacher could finish the sentence, pressed the "No" button about 25 times in less than five seconds, with the robo-voice saying, "No, no, no, no, no, no. . ."  :)
That is funny.

I have a friend with autistic son. Can you send me a personal message with some of your brother-in-law's work that i could refer her to?

I am gobsmacked department:  Read in Variety this morning that Baz Luhrman is preparing a 3D version of The Great Gatsby with Leonardo di Caprio for Christmas 2012 release.
So we can feel the car running us over?

YOU RUINED IT! You should have spoilered this.

LOL! I wonder if Leo is playing Gatsby or Nick? I hope it's not as lousy as MOULIN ROUGE?

how about the car mechanic. he might able to handle that role.

LOL. I didn't mention the end, though. Or the scene where Leo bursts out into song while dancing atop the Moulin Rouge (it's part of a dream sequence tied to Gatsby's post-war European wanderings).

There is quite a battle going on between Joshie and a shoelace. I think Joshie will win.

DR JRand61, I liked ONCE UPON A TIME a lot. From what I've read, there seems to be little similarity between this show and GRIMM, which I also look forward to. GRIMM seems to be a supernatural-like detective series involving fairy tale monsters while ONCE UPON A TIME, which takes place in a town called Storyb(r)ook, Maine, is about the fantasy kingdom of Snow White and her Prince cursed and trapped in American suburbia by the wicked queen. So, are the flashbacks to Pinocchio, Gepetto, Snow White, etc. the reality or fantasy of a 10 year-old boy who might be Pinocchio. Is Emma Swan really the daughter of Snow White and the Prince and the one to save them all? Of course, the answer is yes, but the obstacle is that no one remembers who they were in a previous reality, the wicked queen who's the mayot of Storybrook might since she's evil incarnate, even though their current lives mirror their fantasy ones. The cast is game and good. I wish it well.

You can catch the pilot on abc.com, I think.

Got another three hours of sleep and was awakened by a call from the composer of the musical we are most likely issuing - we'll meet tomorrow instead of today - that's better for me.

Have been printing out a ton of orders - this has now outsold Thelma & Louise in terms of the Kritzerland site, and it's done so about seven hours faster.

Guess I'll go do the four-mile jog now, then eat something, then do banking, then hopefully pick up a package or three.

I wonder if there's a Lego version of the cathedral.

I can't help but feel that ONCE UPON A TIME is a rip-off of the DC Vertigo Comic series FABLES that has been running for almost ten years.

Don't you think if it were, that DC comics would b all over the press with lawsuits and other litigational declarations? Since I do not know the comic, I have no opinion. I liked the first episode.

There was a series several years ago that appeared to be a ripoff ofPete Hamill's novel FOREVER. It suddenly vanished/

Maybe, DR Dan (the Man).  My comment when trying to take in all the sculptures and carvings on the facade:  "It's like Where's Waldo?"

Today we saw The Spitfire Gill at the local theater. Afterwards we celebrated with ice cream because Lilah and her bunch were not there. Again. We thought the first time they may have given away their tickets, but after today, we know they did not renew. We won!

We are back from our visit to the very impressive Reims Cathedral.  We rented the audio commentary apparatus  and took more than 2 hours to do what the clerk said would take about an hour.  Festivities just concluded to celebrate the cathedral's 800th anniversary - it was the site of French coronations until 1825.  We stopped for a casual lunch and are back at the hotel.  I've purchased and printed our train tickets to get to the airport (with a lot of help from Ana at the desk!) and made coffee for me and tea for Richard.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip with us.
