It's official - we are going to be trick or treat grinches tonight.  Going to a 4:30 movie, then probably out to dinner.

I think I'm going to follow your lead, Ginny, though I did spend $14 on a bag of candy to give out.

We had such a fantastic time last year here at the new house handing out treats, we're really looking forward to this year.  As those who have been to our previous home environment know, it was set way back from the street and was not easily visible, so we virtually had no trick or treaters any of the years we lived there.

My hunch is that Jane and Keith have no trick or treaters at their home.  :)

Catching up on sending out invoices.  It's hard to keep up with all this stuff and the helper leaves today for a week.  When she returns, Chitty will ship.

Since I will be with Mom at the hospital until visiting hours end at 8:00 and then do some much needed food shopping, there will ne no tricks or treats at my house this year. (Just as well since I never got around to buying any candy...)

Boy, some people really need A LOT of nagging to get them to do what they need to do.

I'm going to my sister's house tonight and she never gets anyone on Halloween.  She lives on a dead-end street where no one has any young children.

That's really sad for all of you who don't get to enjoy trick-or-treating. DR Sandra dresses up as Queen Elizabeth I and hands out the candy.

Does she also frequent Elmore's dreams driving a taxi?  Or was that Elizabeth II?

Our first shar-pei - Mimmy - always wore a hockey goalie mask on Halloween to greet the munchkins at the door.

DR Ginny, do you like PAN AM?    I think I've only missed one episode and I'm about to give up on it.  I just don't care enough about the characters or something.  I keep waiting for it to take off but it just doesn't seem to be able to get off the ground...

We gave up on it awhile ago.

I am wondering if my 2 year old niece will go out for Halloween tonight.I hope she does.  Yesterday she was excited about it. But today she said she wasn't going. I wonder if she will change her mind when my sister, me and my niece go out.

I hope the little one at least tries it. Just so she can see what it is. She has a great costume. It's a purple unicorn. And it's super warm and snuggly.

We made the Halloween effort when Rob was young, but there aren't many kids in our neighborhood and the few who do show up often pass up our steep driveway.  This year, between the wedding and our trip, I didn't even get out the Halloween decorations.  I won't always be a grinch, but this seemed like a good year for it.

Throw candy at them, Doug. That usually makes them go away.

I am quite happy to find that the cable station The Antenna Network is now showing the 1960s anthology mystery series KRAFT SUSPENSE THEATRE (aka CRISIS).....watched two episodes this weekend and am LOVING IT!

Lots of nifty guest stars....Tina Louise, John Gavin, Aldo Ray, Clu Gulager, Tippi Hedren...

DR JRand, I watched TERROR IN THE YEAR 5000....hmmm....that was one badly made film....but it could have been so good had it been in the right hands.

I did a very nice interview on Sunday with actor Wayne Mallory (aka as Chad Mallory; aka Ted Avery; aka Wayne Moseley).

Under any name he didn't have much of a career, but he sure was a lot of fun to chat with!

Hello to all you other home stuck people. I can't get the t.v. to switch to dvd, so no more "Nightmare Before Christmas" for me it seems. And I can't munch on any of the candy we have for trick or treaters. But the saddest part is that I don't HAVE any trick or treat-ers.

*sighs* What happened to Halloween? I hope I get to go out later tonight with friends. Thye'll be out of rehearsal at eight so.... not much fun time honestly.  :-[

How's everyone elses Halloween going? *worries about rain- or worse, SNOW again*
