I can't find my actual very first post, but it was in January of 2005.

At the top of a page (page 4, I believe) on January 16, 2005, BK welcomed you as a lurker and invited you to join in when you felt like doing so.

Several posts later, your first post appeared:

Thanks for the welcome.  I'll probably just lurk for awhile but will no doubt join in soon!

(To find this, go to HHW Community Forums.  Scroll down to the Archives section.  January 2005 is under Archive 2).

I saw that, but thought maybe there was a post before that.

Well, it's official:  Julie Taymor's a-suing.  :)

I think that everybody who bought a "Preview" ticket to SPIDERMAN should be suiing Julie Taymor!

Richard and I went to vote about 9am, then to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.  Neither of us was really hungry for lunch, so I have an early dinner of homemade chicken pie in the oven.  Early works, because he has a Messiah rehearsal at 7 and I have an AAUW meeting at the same time.

First Richard becomes "a man of the cloth," and now he is rehearsing to be The Messiah?

Since it's our anniversary, I actually read the notes today.  OK< I know, you're supposed to read the notes first, and I do read them a lot of the time, but when I"m really busy I skip right to the wonderful people who have spent the last 11 years in BKs living room.   I have had such fun getting together with many of you, and will never forget the support at times when I really needed it.   This is truly a family.  Thanks BK for making it all possible

I have been better, but I guess I will be fine.  Thanks, Cilla, for asking.

My friend, Sharry, and I were in rehearsals for HELLO, DOLLY!.  She said that she had always wanted to track down an address for Jerry Herman so that she could write him a fan letter.  I said that I would try to find an address on the Internet.  When I started searching for Mr. Herman, I ended up finding all these sites for Guy Haines.  I started reading HHW, and I was hooked.

I will say, however, that I am very impressed that "The Messiah" rehearsals are underway.

Tomorrow morning, I see the dental surgeon who performed the sinus lift I had two weeks ago.

Thursday morning, I see my dentist and we start working on replacing two crowns.

Sigh.

It is (dental contagious that is) since I'm going right from the office to the Dentist chair this late afternoon (6pm). I should have 1 or perhaps 2 more visits before I'm finished. He has to do prep work for the crown today and that may take two sessions. If it only takes one then he can take the impression and send the crown out to be made and then I just need have it installed.

GOOD DENTAL VIBES!!!

Ratner's out as Oscar producer after his gaffes last week.  Since he brought Eddie Murphy on board, Murphy may be next.

While I'm trying not to complain that we have completely lost heat, until Friday or more likely Monday, my friend who is still suffering from the effects of Irene finally has hot water after 74 days without.  She still doesn't have heat.

Thank you Laura.  It seems we will be replacing the heater & the new one won't arrive until Friday.  Depending on the arrival time they might not put it in until Monday.  The heater guy told Keith to shut the power off to the non-working heater system only it also shut off the heater in our bedroom.  I really get cold at night.  Craig doesn't care after not have heat or hot water in Romania which has winters like the mid-west & east coast do.
