Good morning, all! I've been awake for nearly two hours. Discounting the time to bathe and dress, most of my time was spent answering an email from The Man From Philadelphia. I had bizarre dreams about FOLLIES - I rememebr Rebecca Luker was in the dream with me and we were backstae - and a nighmare that left me unsettled around 12:50 AM.
Today, I have the Lincoln Center NYPL and Richard Rodgers' personal scrapboks, which I've never looked at before. I've got to look at 1925 and 1926 for info on DEAREST ENEMY, but I'd like to look at the one for this epic flop CHEE-CHEE as well. I have more work (and more and more to follow that) on ROBERTA here, and work on prep for the May release of the Herbert songs and lieder.
DR Ginny, you'll have to photograph the tree again so we can see the tree's crown. It looks quite lovely.
DR Laura, I send my condolences to you and the family of Aunt Pearl.
DR John G, good news on the book.
More coffee!
