Yes Good Grade Vibes for DR JOHN G.

I used to have a Barbara Eden CD......she did some nice songs on it......not sure if it's still around.

Back from the office reunion Christmas lunch. Lots of turkey and other things to eat and drink. I now feel bloated.

I could really relate to DR JMK's remarks about having two weeks off except for A, B, C, D, and E. I would dearly LOVE to have two FULL weeks off at the end of each year. The week before Christmas is often taken up with pre-Christmas stuff--cards, gifts, etc, so it doesn't really count. And there's always far more that I want to do than I can squeeze into one week.

As for BK, working is like breathing; he'll never NOT do it. He'd be completely miserable!! Wouldn't ya, Bruce?

One thing I really SHOULD do soon is throw more out! I can't believe how things pile up! Much easier to clean with less clutter.

I keep thinking the same. I've got stuff piled high in the attic and I must start clearing it all out in the New Year.

Last year or the year before when Barbara was playing in SOUTH PACIFIC somewhere, the reviewer noted her age by remarking that the show was about Nellie and her nurses NOT Nellie and her nieces.......

As soon as you throw it out, you will need it, or someone will ask you if you have it.

Oh my......I may be talking myself right into an episode of HOARDERS.

Just caught up with the rest of yesterday's posts. Sorry to hear about the fire, Cillaliz. Vibes for you and your parents. I can imagine how scary that must have been.

Well, I was ready to give up the theater books and was glad I didn't. I have needed dozens over the last few classes. And will need many more to come in the next year of classes. Maybe I'll throw out the unused things like pots, pans and plates.

It looks like there's only one review of Cecil Smith's book on Amazon. Perhaps Larry--or one of us hoping to soon read it--could write a brief review.

My mom also thinks that I'm heading into Hoarders territory.  I keep saying that I should clean up...but I still haven't done it. ::)

I was out and about early running errands. I'm now listening to Songs from the Shows on BBC Radio Tees with the lovely Alex (a woman) Hall.

I have just placed a request for Musical Comedy in America from my library. It will be sent from the Lincoln Center Library to Jefferson Market so I can walk over and pick it up.

Mr. Moore, you're quite an influence on those of us who read.

Actually not as bad as Loretta Swit, but not natural either.

Seth Rudetsky has written up a report on Ann Harada's Christmas Eve with Christmas Eve show in which she plays her Avenue Q character. This part about her duet with Norm Lewis had me in fits:

... they then sang "Wheels of a Dream," the Coalhouse and Sarah duet from Ragtime. Norm sounded so fantastic and Ann pushed Christmas Eve's Japanese accent to new heights. When Coalhouse sings "We'll go down South and see your people…," Sarah responds, "See my folks!" Of course, when Christmas Eve heard that Coalhouse would take her down South to see her people, her Japanese accent made her enthusiastically respond, "See my forks!"
