Am too tired to contemplate anything but rest. Back to work.

I have finally finished the remainder of the Social Securtiy Disability Report.  Whew!  Now I have to wait up to 120 days to hear from SS.  I had to leave a message for the claims representative that will be handling my case.  I could not understand one word of their message!

bk - You might want to consider this if you can't find pre-peeled garlic cloves:

How to Peel a Head of Garlic in Less Than 10 Seconds

Um, I tried this on Christmas Day while preparing my Four Bulb Garlic Dip and it really didn't work well.  I still had to hand peel many of the cloves.  And while some of the cloves did self-peel, some of those became sticky and the papery peels stuck to them.  I guess you need to be a pro to pull this method off.

We have had a nice dinner, finishing off the last of the Christmas turkey.

I've been dragging my butt all day, too.  After breaking down and tieing up to cardboard boxes, I decided to do a lot of non-clothing laundry and some general declutterization in the livingroom, diningroom and kitchen.  After that, I gave up the Target hunt idea and crashed on my sofa for an hour.  I've promised myself no housework tomorrow--it will strictly be an Out Day for me.

Verizon has decided to start charging customers $2 when they pay their monthly bill online.  They kindly suggest that one can pay the bill without the fee at a Verizon store.  Which is exactly what I plan on doing--using pennies.

I read that they (and other businesses) want people to start using automatic payments...for whatever reason.  I pay my cable and electric bill on-line each month (not automatically), and go in person to the local city hall to pay my water/sewer bill with my debit card and I write a check every month for my condo dues.  The rest (mortgage, insurance, Verizon, Netflix), are automatic.

Well, it's only 5:00 pm, and I've decided to go home.  This is early for me.  I finished the evaluations and just need to get out of here...so I'm leaving.

Until later! :D

A quick hello from a computer at work.

The best thing that happened this year was that my father came home after 8 months in the hospital and/or rehab.

Everything else mostly sucked on a personal level.

BUT I am looking forward to the new year with one unresolved issue.

I will try to log on tomorrow. but I will not have computer access over the weekend.

In case I don't I wish every individual at Haines His Way and especially Mr. Bruce Kimmel a very happy, healthy, hearty and a prosperous and successful new year.

All kinds of health, happy, work and any other vibes that will be needed in the coming year.

I also want to thank everyone who gave me advice, vibes and gently gibes.

Lots of love, happiness and peace in the world.
Michael

PS I will definitely be back in the new year as soon as my laptop is fixed.

Happy New Year, Michael!

Just got an e-mail telling us we won a couple of year-end best-of things at The Second Disc - best cast album reissue of 2011 went to Gone With The Wind, and best soundtrack reissue went to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (tied with another label's The Golden Child).

You are going to charge Mr. Pomahac for going to dinner with you?

Rex is home. They gave him a dose of good strong pain killer for the night. He will hang out in Sandra's room for the next few days, I suppose.

The good news is that although his mouth was pretty bad, he does not seem to have the autoimmune disease Joshie had. So that's good.
