I'm just glad more and more people are enjoying "Downton Abbey."

LOL....DR JMK - I have posted that quote before and no one said anything.....so if anyone calls "spoiler" I will have to say that must not have read the post from last year.

Yes, evidently the only posts of mine that are read are these supposed "spoilers" which in fact "spoil" nothing.   ;D

Sad to read that Judi Dench has macular degeneration.

From yesterday:

I saw Phantom of the Opera 23 years ag or so with the second Phatom & Christine and was not crazy about it. It maybe that I was more of a Sondheim snob back then.

But I did go see the Albert Hall production and thought that Phantom was a pretty good show.

But I wonder, if it really matters, will it ever have a life in amateur arena

I remember reading an article in Show Music magazine about UNORIGINAL ALW's music score for Sunset Blvd was. They listed where all the music was cribbed from including Cricket and The Odessa File.

If anyone is interested I will look the article up and can post some of the highlights of it

You won't allow that at least ONE of your posts gave me reason to think you had alluded to something to which you weren't actually referring, can you?  Let it go...if that's at all possible.

;)

If not, then...pity.

It was a joke, Ron.  My humor evidently doesn't translate well over the internet.  I shall continue to joke about anything I wish.  That is also a joke.

In other, non joking news, there was the most hideous accident this morning on the way to church.  Evidently someone went the wrong way on one of the major freeways here.  It was closed, we all had to get off, then on again, at a certain exit, but the results of the crash were still spectacularly and troublingly in evidence.  The wrong way car was sheared in two, with no roof left.  It looked like it had also caught on fire.  On the back half of the car several pieces of clothing had been spread out, which I assume had been cut off the victims.  There were also at least three other cars that looked like they had been hit.

A churchgoer told me this had been all over the news this morning, but I never watch the local news, and it's not online yet.

No, some "joking" translates as "pissiness".   That's just my opinion, but I've expressed it.  No joke.

DVDs can be washed with liquid soap.  Just dry them by rubbing from the center out (not around in a circle).

Thanks for the drying instructions.  I have been doing it in a circle.

at the suggestion of a demo lady at BJ's (she was NOT demonstrating this product) I bought a NeilMed Sinus Rinse kit  between that and the anitbiotics I seem to have recovered

If only you had followed DR Jennifer's recent suggestion to use the sinus rinse. ;)

DR Ginny I think DH Richard chose, by far, the best of the three movies.

It's not the end of the world (or the DVD  ;D) if you dry in a circle, as long as you're careful.  DVD's tend to handle scratches better if they're at a 90 degree angle from the "circle," if that makes sense.

My current guesses on the upcoming Kritzerland release involve these composers:

Michel Legrand
Manos Hadjidakis

Though I must say if it's one of those fine gentlemen, I'm a bit confused.

It is neither of those gentlemen.

I went online & signed up for Redbox and now have THE HELP waiting for me to pick it up.  I didn't know you could reserve movies.   I will get the second movie I reserve for free. :)

The Redbox is conveniently located across the street from the Y.

I had three DEAREST ENEMY numbers to proof and edit, so that's done. I guess I have some tax work to continue.
