At the end of the NYCO production, the cast waltzes out one more time, only problem was that none of the cast members was dancing in time with the music. Very sloppy.

Earlier today, I had on a DVD from George of "The Best of Broadway" with Len Cariou and Glynis Johns recreating their roles for a brief scene. Seeing them after listening to that album so many thousands of times and seeing the movie and other productions was touching.

I saw them both on Broadway, the day after I saw PIPPIN.

I have recounted the story of Ms. Johns evidently having been in her cups that night, and almost having been taken out by Boris Aronson's plexiglas birch trees, if not for the quick thinking of Mr. Cariou.

Well, I finished my work for the day. A few hours later than I would have liked, but the story is done. Now, I can watch something and focus on it, too.
