Well, you've read the notes, the notes were designed, and now it is time for you to post until the designed cows come home.

Good morning, all! I want to finish up these taxes this morning and spend part of the afternoon cooking. I haven't decided what I want to cook yet, but my initial thoughts are chili or a huge amount of vegetable beef soup.

The only dream I remember from last night is one that could be about either the Appalachian Christmas show or the brilliant new musical ONCE, which I am eagerly wanting to see again. My whole memory of the dream is a rehearsal in whch everyone is playing an instrument.

Today's work: finish the taxes, make a bank deposit, go to the market, and cook. we';; see how much of that I actually accomplish.

More coffee!

Tuesday morning greetings!  It's cold and rainy in SW Ohio and we're headed to Lima for a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and tomorrow's Ash Wednesday service.  Now, where did I put my Mardi Gras beads?

Congrats to DR CILLA LIZ on her sparkling new flute!!

It sounds as if the book is moving along quite well.....I like the title very much.

The taxes are finished, I am very happy to report. Now, all I have to do is survive tomorrow's meeting.

Now it's time to hit the bank and visit the market. I'm thinking it will be chili. I don't have room in the freezer to store all the soup. When I make vegetable soup, I end up with a lot.

TOD:

The Manchurian Candidate (original NOT the remake) - so many of the reviews of the second film proclaimed with authority that Angela Lansbury played Eleanor Iselin in the original film....when in fact in the novel AND the first film, the first name of her character was NEVER given....she was simply Mrs. Iselin.

Play & movie:  State of the Union.  I have always wanted to do this play during the election/convention season....and this year would have been perfect, but no one seems to agree with me.....although this doesn't keep me from mentioning it every four years.

Advise & Consent - book and movie
