Sasha Baron Cohen had an urn supposedly with someone's ashes and "accidentally" dumped it on Ryan Seacrest.  He was then escorted out.

Sorry I missed that - I am sure E! will replay it endlessly.

I'm not watching E!, so I missed it.

Maybe he is taking Jack Nicholson's place.

The red carpet coverage takes more time than the actual Oscars broadcast.
How unseemly.

Ryan Seacrest  didn't look pleased to be covered in ashes (regardless of what they actually were).

Who is Melissa?  I don't know any of these actors and actresses and I actually SAW some films last year.  Are 90% of the nominees from The Help?

Melissa McCarthy from Bridesmaids.

A lot of the women are from BRIDESMAIDS

I really didn't like that movie, to me it was just women doing body fluid humor.

After last night's (Saturday's) show, we had a cast party in the space.  Music was played, foodstuffs and liquid refreshments (alcohol and non) were consumed, dances were danced, conversations were had and a fun time was had by all.

I originally read this as  "We had  a cast party in Space"  I was going to comment that no wonder you had cost over runs with such astrononomical indulgences

The actual AA ceremony starts at 8:30 - but I think TAR will probably be delayed because it is preceded by College Basketball.....we shall see.

This is 12 step site now?  ;)

now?

Sasha Baron Cohen should be run out of the business - instead they let him make movies and play roles that good actors should be doing, i.e. his role in Hugo, which was a huge misfire in that otherwise okay movie.

I agree, except for seeing Jill Clayburgh.

Comcast is busily removing all of the YouTube content with Seacrest and Cohen, but there's still one up there.  For a moment, anyway.

Reported to be pancake mix.  I can't find anything about whether security threw Sacha out of The Oscars, or just removed him from the red carpet.

I have balanced my checkbook and it all balances.

I need to take a shower now and get ready for tonight's performance of  "A Bucket of Blood."  I'll have to watch the Oscars over the upcoming week.
