I decided I will only start watching the Red carpet at six thirty. Then at around seven something I will turn to TAR and then I will watch the rest of the Red Carpet. When I am done all that I will stat the Oscars. I am guessing I will be able to catch up to the commercials pretty fast.

I will not be watching or even recording.  I have this book to read.  I'm loving the book, however, it is a struggle to read the small print.  I'm not used to reading so slowly.

I am trying to get caught up with Dexter Season six online. But for some reason my computer is making a ticking noise that comes thru the speakers only when using the speakers. It is not these specific speakers and it used to go away if i rebooted. It is distracting. I wish I knew what to do to fix this. :(

I picked up various and sundried foodstuffs to eat throughout the day and evening.  I've already had the main dish, a chicken Caesar salad.

This day has been weird: lots of technological screwups, a friend on the verge of a nervous breakdown, stupid things occurring. Is something in retrograde? Is there a full moon? Is it me?

I just saw Darren Criss and Kermit the Frog sing The Rainbow Connection.   Now E! has a Victoria's Secret Model Fashion show.

DR ELMORE the sun is activating several planets that could cause things.....so there will be some wardrobe malfunctions and trips and falls on the red carpet and during the ceremony this evening....there may even be a wrong name read....causing red faces for many people.

Just not during the Oscar ceremony, right? You mean the ceremony at some wedding chapel in Las Vegas.

They aren't going to do that thing that they did last year are they......where five former winners stood up onstage and talked and talked about each of the nominees before they read the winner.....that was awful.....and some of the things they had to say were a real stretch....

I am already tired of hearing "amazing" and "fabulous."

Thank goodness they're not doing that again - that was the nadir of any Oscar broadcast, truly embarrassing.

Well that's three of us.  Hopefully the producer feels the same way.

They sounded more like eulogies than introductions.

A shame you can't read it on a Kindle.  I love that I can adjust the font, so that I don't need to take my cheaters into the bedroom.

BTW:  "Cheaters in the Bedroom" is the name of my next novel.

I have my TV tuned to OTRC (On The Red Carpet), also available at OTRC.com.  I figured that I would just keep it here, because this on my local ABC affiliate.  Their first guest on the carpet was James Cromwell  Interesting!  He said that THE ARTIST had 68 American SAG members in the cast, most of whom have spent their careerrs in the background for most movies; but all of them having major roles of a lifetime in the film.

I'm watching "Royal Pains."  I want to watch it and delete it from my DVR so that I have a little more room to record the Oscars, since I won't be able to watch them live...actually "live."

The basketball went over by only 5 minutes....so we shall see what that means for the Amazing Race.

Wolfgang Puck is talking to Ryan Seacrest.

Rose Byrne from Bridesmaids in a black shower curtain.  Very nice.  Vivian Westwood's shower curtain she says.
