Hi all so what did you think?  I'm getting tons of phone calls from everyone at work and my friends down here.  Thelma is thrilled!

I haven't watched yet and I don't know if this is the entire Danise segment (it's listed as 4minutes) but I found this on the AC Show Web site

Hey, Danise! Is the clip on the Web site (4 minutes long) your entire piece on the show? I won't be able to watch until later. Anderson is on at 4pm in New York and I'll be in the dentist chair at that time.

I am sooooo tired.  The plane was delayed twice.  I didn't get into tampa until around midnight.  Got the Super Shuttle and was third person off so didn't walk in the door until after one.  The dogs were so excited to see me and I had to spend some time with treats and pets and lots of say I missed you/love you.  I went in the back yard with them for a moment to let them run it off and I didn't get to bed until sometime around two thirty.  Woke up at eight thirty to watch the show.  I'm pumped right now but have a feeling I'm going to crash soon.

Thelma wanted to go out to dinner but i asked her if we going do it on Saturday so I can feel up to it.

I wanted DR Elmore to know how much I enjoyed dinner and getting the chance to catch up.  I was surprised that I was so close to his part of town and more surprised when I found arties by myself.

Danise, just finished watching

First of all, you look fabulous - love your hair
Secondly, I knew your story, but hearing it again, really made me tear up
Thirdly, No one deserves the surprise on the show more than you
Fourthly, You hugged Anderson....I'm jealous :)
Fifthly,  How cool that you also have the real Angie of Angie's list in your corner.

Danise, you look great! I assume from Anderson's opening comment that your segment is longer than 4 minutes.

Excellent piece from John Simon on Howard Kissel:

Very lovely and so true. I think I have a photo of Howard, John Simon and me at a Raines family event. John's a stringent critic and a very lovely gentleman, too.

Howdy, DR Danise! Yep, Anderson's on at 4pm on channel 11. I've got the VCR set. Even took the porn out of the player for you.

I spoke to Joshie at City Center; he thinks all is well, so I'm heading home. I have plenty to do there.

Thank you.  It helps when you have pro's do the hair and makeup.  I think I shocked them because I came in and told them I had only washed my face and hair, no hair gel no makeup so I could give them a blank canvas to work with

Mr. Cooper is a very nice man.  Lovely eyes and I got to look at them the whole time I was on stage.  It helped keep me from being scared of being in front of all those people.

DR Danise, while I think I was wise to tell you to expect nothing from the show beyond an appearance, I am thrilled that you came out a winner in several ways! The next NYC dinner is on you!

I was watching 360 (his other show) while waiting at the airport and was in shock that I just sat next to that man a few hours before.  Horrible about all those tornados and I also can't believe that on one of the happiest days of my life, Davy Jones dies.

Thursday morning greetings!

Danise, just finished watching

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, and (most of all) Ditto!!!

In ENCHANTED, Susan Sarandon's character describes NYC as a "place where there are no happy endings" and this segment flies right in the face of that statement.  I am so thrilled for our dear DR Danise and Anderson Cooper has a brand new fan here in SW Ohio.

If would have known about the money I would have insisted on paying this time but that is a firm promise.  And I WILL come back to NY.  I have no doubt of that now. :)  I so enjoyed our talk.  You helped to keep me steady when I really needed to just have someone to talk to.

Wonderful things DO happen, Danise, and I'm glad they happened to you this time.

I hoped they'd put things right...and hopefully Angie's List will do just that for you!

I was told they had a viewing party down at work as well.  I do kinda wish the should would have aired next week so I could have been there but there was no way I could go to work today after everything.

I can't wait to see what they are going to do room wise for the washer and drier.  There is no way those would fit in the house the way it is now.  Did you see how big they were?

I was joking with the people on the show afterwards about trying to check them in at the airport.  I didn't think I do a carry on with them!  :)

Flashback to the Oscars and the incomplete (and highly edited) "In Memoriam" segment.

Every year, Oscar pays final respects to departed actors/actresses/technicians, etc., and EVERY year they leave someone out.   Granted, some folks may seem "minor" to those decision-makers hard-pressed to schedule an event that should last one hour into a three-hour slot, but their failures do not go unnoticed.  Click below to see who was....

LEFT OUT

A few of the omissions are shocking to me.
